| Abstract: | The fundamental conception of aircraft survivability in modern battlefield environments is introduced in this paper. A method is also presented for calculating the probability of detection, which is suitable even when some radar parameters of hostile are not available. Several practical methods are discussed to reduce the RCS (radar cross section), and some instructive suggestions for stealth design is given. |
