| 摘 要： | 设 ａ，ｂ 为两个不等的正数，则其几何平均 ａｂ和算术平均（ａ＋ ｂ）／２ 之间可以插入两数的对数平均和指数平均以及一般的线幂平均等而构成不等式。证明了其间可以插入指数函数的幂平均，从而给出了介于ｍ ｉｎ｛ａ，ｂ｝和 ｍ ａｘ｛ａ，ｂ｝之间的函数的幂平均不等式。

| Abstract: | The New College English Teaching Programme prescribes higher requirements for the students' competence in the use of the language, especially in writing. To meet the requirements, teachers should devise varied methods and diverse classroom activities which are oriented toward effective writing. Based on her years of expreience in composition writing, the author discusses in the paper some of the patterns of English writing practice. |
