Broadcasting Technology and Algorithms for Network System

The problem of broadcasting for computer network system is discussed with emphasis on broadcasting algorithms in this paper.First,some notions and applications of broadcasting technology in network are introduced.Then,several broadcasting algorithms are presented,in which transmission of separately addressed packets,multidestination addressing,spanning tree forwarding,reverse path forwarding and flooding are included,and the improvement idea of flooding is proposed.Finally,these algorithms simulating results and their reliability analysis are given.
