Abstract:An airborne radar tracking system using adaptive filtering technology is discussed.Dynamic and measurement models described in Cartesian coordinates of sight-line are given.In contrast with conventional dynamic model, the dynamic system model here is derived by assuming the statistic model of target manoeuvre to be a time correlation model with nonzero average. The filtering algorithm is no longer the normal Kalman filtering algorithm, but a correlative adaptive one.Finally, a sub-optimum control method of the system and the results of computer simulation are presented.
