外腔式Fabry-Perot光纤传感器的研制及其在智能材料中的应用

摘    要:在制作外腔式Fabry-Perot干涉 (FPEI) 光纤传感器中,提出并解决了基于抛光光纤端面并在其上镀上多层介质膜的关键技术,从而解决了外腔式Fabry-Perot干涉光纤传感器的干扰和稳定性问题.使探测系统大大简化,传感器性能显著增加,成本下降.本文还首次用模式理论计算了两波的干涉输出光强与位移的关系.最后将FPEI应变传感器贴附在一个分布式智能悬臂梁上,检测到振动频率及轴向应变值,其结果与用压电片监测到的结果完全一致.

Abstract:In the work of developing extrinsic fabry-perot interferometric (EFPI), the key technology of polishing fiber optic endfaces and coating the multilayer of dielectric films on them is raised and resolved to settle the disturbance and stability problem of EFPI, which simplifies the sensing system, improves the sensor performance and reduces the cost. In this paper, the relations between the output interferential light intensity and the F-P cavity length are calculated based on the theory of mode field coupling. The EFPI fiber optic sensor is adhered to a distributed smart laminate beam to detect vibration frequency and axial strain value, the results coincident with the results tested by PZT.
