| Abstract: | In this paper, based on the theory of the magnetic dipole, the magnetic leakagefields are calculated for (1) an artificialrectangular defect with an infinite length under the condition ofalternating and direct current magnetization and (2) the one with a finite length under thedirect current magnetization. The relationship among the features of the space distribution of themagnetic field,defect sizes, magnetized fields and the magnetism of workpieces are also analyzed. |
