| Abstract: | This paper discusses some basic concepts on environmental worthiness and environmental engineering, and the relations between environmental worthiness and reliability. From an analysis on the environmental engineering for equipment, the status and the role of environmental engineering in the equipment development and manufacturing are shown. Some suggestions are put forward for the development of environmental engineering in our country. |
