Abstract:To investigate the effect of recess on the spray characteristics of gas-liquid coaxial swirl injector, three different flowing models of recessed mixing chamber were built, and the effects of different recess distance on the spray characteristics were theoretically analyzed. Water and compressed air are used as the simulating models. High velocity dynamic testing system is used to test parameters of the spray characteristics. The theory proposed has been validated. An empirical equation of prime recess distance is deduced.
