Abstract:Some types of blade loadings which are often used for the design of centrifugal compressor impellers were analysed in this paper. The blade loading with the minimum diffusivity in the blabe passages is recognized as a kind of the idealer and more practical blade loading. The maximum loading in the middle way and the minimum loadings in the edges of a blade passage is the characteristics of this kind of blade loading. It can match the different flow conditions in blade passages. As a result, it can get a higher flow efficiency. In fact,it has been identified that the high efficiency and saving energy impellers can be fulfilled by using this kind of blade loading.
