The Error Analysis of Rise Time Measurement with an Oscilloscope

In this paper, we analyze an estimate of the error resulting from the rise time limitation of the oscilloscope. As a consequence of this situation, the use of the rule for error correction leads to increase of the uncertainties of measurement data. Hence, although the quadratic error estimation gives a good upper limits of the error, they can not be reliably used for error correction.
