On Textual Styles and Linguistic Features of Civil Aviation Language

In order to convey information clearly and decently,people use various kinds of texts to express their exact meanings.There are many kinds of textual styles and their main features in aviation language,such as radiotelephony communications between the pilots and the control towers,specialized books,documents(civil aviation laws and regulations,and operation manuals).Radio telephony bears oral feature;the rest are all in their written forms.Linguistic features,including lexical features,grammatical features and semantic features of the styles are talked about.From the discussion of the linguistic features,we can draw a conclusion that there are some features in aviation that are different from the common styles of texts.
