A Method of Accurate Mass Property Calculation for Spacecraft Cable Network

The paper analyzes the problems and obstacles in current mass property calculation method for spacecraft cable network at home and aboard, identifies the difficulty in accurate calculation of cable mass property, and proposes a solution. Based on spacecraft cable database, wire bundle linear density is calculated and a 3D cable network model is set up automatically. Some skills are suggested to improve the accuracy of the cable length, and a wire bundle specification database is set up. The method solved the puzzle of the accuracy of cable networks mass property. The feasibility of the method and the validity of the result are verified with an example used for a space probe.
