摘    要:脉冲雷达高度表内嵌的跟踪与测高算法在很大程度上决定了地形匹配系统的总体性能。普通的OCOG算法和其它基于回波前沿半功率点的跟踪算法都无法满足地形匹配的要求。因此,对OCOG算法加以改进,形成M-OCOG算法,并基于复杂地形回波的特性,分析M-OCOG算法在回波跟踪能力和测高性能方面的优越性,通过两种定量分析方法分析其地形匹配效果,说明了将其应用于地形匹配雷达高度表的可行性。

Abstract:It is known that the pulse radar altimeter is an important assembly in the terrain contour matching system(TERCOM).The total performance of the TERCOM is almost determined by the echotracking and heightcalculation algorithms embedded in the radar altimeter.The normal Offset Centre of Gravity(OCOG) algorithm and other classical methods based on tracking the halfpower point of the risingedge of the echo could not commendably meet the needs of the TERCOM system.A robust echotracking and heightcalculation algorithm,the Modified Offset Centre of Gravity (MOCOG) algorithm,are firstly presented in the paper.On the basis of the characteristic of the complicated echo,the superiority of MOCOG algorithm at the aspects of echotracking ability and heightmeasuring performance is analyzed in detail.The TERCOM effect is also analyzed by two kinds of quantitative analysis approach here.The feasibility of applying MOCOG algorithm to TERCOM radar altimeter is confirmed at the end of paper.
