Theoretical investigation of the vortex zone structure between periodic flow rectangular cross-section turbulators placed on the surface

Abstract:We present the results of the mathematical modeling based on the multiunit computational technologies of the vortex zone structure between periodic flow rectangular cross-section turbulators placed on the surface. We used the factorized finite-volume method for solving the Reynolds equations, being closed with the use of Menter’s shear stress transfer model, and the energy equation on different-scale intersecting structured grids. The detailed analysis of the corresponding streamlines is presented.
