Abstract:In this paper, the technique of experimental component mode synthesis (ECMS) was pro-ceeded to solve the problem of mode test for whole-scale complicated structures, based on the ECMS the-ory which using substructure's free modes and fixed-interface modes. By the procedure of substructure'sexperiment, the technique of mode test and the method of handling testdata were studied, it inc1uded themanner to calculate the fittest distance between measure points and the regression method to extract need-ed data from more points, it also included the echanced manner to obtain angles of mode shape, and so on.All these had made obvious stable progress comparing with the formly results by free-interface ECMSmethod.
