| Abstract: | SiO2 matrix oomposite, a high performance and multifunctional ceramic matrix oomposite, is developed in recent years. It's extensively used as heat shield and electronmagnetic wave transparent material for nose cone. The constitution and primal problems of SiO2 matrix composite converted from silicasol are intreduced in this paper. The application research was carried out by using slicone resin in the materials. The effects of the resin on the dielectric,ablative and mechanical properties of the material were discussed. The results show that the properties of SiO2 matrix composite are improved by using silicone resin. |
