Design and Achievement of Flexible MIS

The concept and the definition of the flexible MIS, which is directed against the traditional MIS, are advanced in this paper. The achieved example of flexible MIS, named NMS.is introduced emphatically,and its designing thought,its supporting modules used to achieve the flexibility of the NMS.the design gists and the functions of these modules,and the setup of the NMS are introduced in this paper too. The modules can be agilely defined and modified by the user in the system. These modules such as input .output, modification, detection,and statistics are in common use,and the programs needn't be modified after the modules or the functions are changed. All the names of user databases and the conditional sections in the program are described with parameters or macro arguments.At last,the extensible and transportable characters of the flexible MIS are summarized in the paper.
