摘    要:在碳纤维复合材料结构的固化过程中,埋入其中的光纤将承受恶劣的环境,这将使光纤的光学性能发生变化,从而影响碳纤维智能复合材料结构中光纤传感系统的性能。文中对多种光纤进行了试验研究,在碳纤维复合材料固化过程中,发现普通敷层光纤的性能发生变化,而央敷层光纤的性能不会发生变化,并对这些现象的原因进行了初步讨论,从而为在碳纤维复合材料智能结构中光纤的选择提供了一定的依据。

Experimental Study on Carbon Cover Optic Fiber Embedded in CFRP Smart Structure
Abstract:In the process of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), the optic fiber embedded in CFRP endures high pressure and temperature and shifts the optical performance of optic fiber. So, the performance of optic fiber sensors embedded in CFRP smart structure will be shifted. In this paper, the experimental study to many kinds of optic fibers is made. The discussion about why the optical parameters of SiO2 cover optic fiber will be shifted and why the optical parameters of carbon cover optic fiber will be not shifted is carried out. So, the calibration of selecting optic fiber in CFRP is presented as follows: (1) If the carbon fiber in the smart structure is only used as a component to transmit the light,the loss change hasn't much influence on the light in the fiber because the change of NA isn't very much and the fiber's length in the sensing net is usually rather short. Thus we consider that the sensing-light ability of the fiber is not be influenced much. In other word, the performance of the sensing net is not be influenced very much. (2) If the carbon fiber in the smart structures is used as a sensor we may select the appropriate fiber to avoid the influence on the fiber sensing net due to the change of the fiber performance.
