| Abstract: | Basic ideas on the simulation of parachutes are introduced. Research advance on the computational fluid dynamics applied to the simulation of parachutes is reviewed. The applications of the simulation of parachutes are also showed in this paper, and especially the changes and development of the applications in recent years are emphasized. Finally, some further works about the simulation of parachute flow field are proposed. |
