Prolog/Lisp协处理器板对Prolog部分的支持

摘    要:
Prolog/Lisp协处理器板是为高效支持运行于Sun3/4及其兼容工作站上的Prolog和Lisp这两种人工智能语言而设计的的专用系统。本文在简单介绍Prolog/Lisp指令集中Prolog部分及Prolog/Lisp协处理器的体系结构之后,描述了该协处理器板上支持Prolog中转移,选择点建立、修改和删除等指令及合一中的多路转移操作的专用结构和专用芯片的原理。模拟结果表明,Prolog/Lisp协处理器板可以满足Prolog部分的推理速度(Local Inference Speed)达到500kLIP/s的要求。

Abstract:
Prolog/Lisp co-processor board is specially designed for Sun3/4 and its compatable work stations working high effectivelly to support the execution of Prolog and Lisp languages.Prolog/ Lisp co-processor architecture,this paper discribe the special hardware on the co-processor board which is used to speed up the branch,choice point creating and identifying and discarding instructions and multi-way branch in the unify operation.The results shows that the local inference speed of Prolog is about 500kLIP/s from simulation of the Prolog/Lisp co-processor architecture.
