Abstract: | In this paper, a design method of R-type waveguide switch based on 3D printing technology is introduced. And the RF parameters and switching time which affect the performance of microwave switch are verified. The verification results show that the RF test results meet the requirements, the switching time is shortened , Hence ,the reliability of the microwave switch is improved. Through the application of 3D printing technology, the weight of the switch is reduced by more than 17%. The production cycle is shortened by more than 60%. The design process and verification results are discussed in this paper. The shortcomings of long switching tine and heavy weight of R-type waveguide switch in X-band are solved. A new way for manufacturing waveguide microwave switch is provided. |
