Abstract: | Testing for minimum resolvable temperature (MRT), a subjective test technique used to demonstrate the performance of thermal imaging sensors with human observers, is addressed. The results of automated MRT testing are presented and compared with those of traditional MRT testing for the same thermal imaging sensor. The theory of MRT as it relates to automated testing is described. The reasons for developing automated MRT testing are explored, as is the motivation for promoting acceptance of this kind of testing |
