第三文化视阈下的跨文化管理研究——以主题公园产业为例

摘    要:以美国为代表的主题公园产业正向全球特别是欧洲和亚洲发展。然而忽略文化差异的美国商业模式简单转移在其扩张发展中屡遭挫折。全球化进程中的文化因素,特别是“第三文化”在主题公园全球发展中产生着重要影响。所谓“第三文化”模式,并不是把两类文化简单相加,而是拥有自我特征的第三种文化。事实证明,全球主题公园跨国管理正在经历第三文化建立的过程。

Abstract:The growth of the theme park industry in the U.S. has been followed by development of the indus- try elsewhere, particularly in Europe and Asia. However, simply copy everything from America to other coun- tries did not work well for the theme park industry. This paper explores the cultural issues regarding interna- tional expansion in the world' s theme park industry. The new culture is much more than a mere additive process involving two cultures. It is a third culture which has characteristics all its own. The third culture building model should be the future focal point of theme park industry' s international expansion.
