| 摘 要： | 司法权威在中国社会一直未能得以充分的确立，法律信仰还没有成为社会公众的内心理念，而和谐社会这一概念的提出为中国社会树立司法权威提供了重大的历史契机，文章分析了和谐社会与司法权威的内在联系，提出司法权威是和谐社会生成的重要保障，和谐社会是司法权威生产的社会基础，二者互为因果，共同致力于纠纷的公正、公平、合理的解决，以谋求人民的生活福祉为最终目标。

| Abstract: | Judiciary authority and awareness of trust-in-law haven't fully established in Chinese society,while the idea of harmonious society offers a good opportunity for the judiciary authority.The article discusses the relationship between judiciary and harmonious society and also suggests that judiciary authority is the base and shield for harmonious society aiming to get justice and a happier life. |
