| Abstract: | For a linear uncertain system, a novel method for designing a robust stabilizing controller is presented in this paper. Using this result, we have investigated the robust control for the pitch axis dynamics of the Space Station. Due to the movement of large payloads by the Space Station's Mobile Servicing Systems (MSS), significant changes in the ineria propertyof the vehicle and, therefore, in the system parameters can occur. With our controller,the pitch axis dynamics of the Space Station are guaranteed stable for all allowable changes in the system parameters. |
