| Abstract: | Abstract: To solve the problems existing in precision turning of a slender shaft whose ratio of length to diameter is morethan 80: 1, some measures are offered in this article in terms of the angle of lathe tool, the way of turning, the tail stockand the follower rest. Thus the requirement of machining is met and the productivity is increased. |
