Abstract: | With the development of radar technology, the multi-mode and combination of multi bandwidth with multi pulse width have become the norm. Focuses on the low efficiency of channel error extraction, a channel error adaptive compensation technique with parameter variation is proposed. Based on the channel error model, the amplitude and phase error compensation curve can be generated adaptively, according the combination of bandwidth with pulse width. Taking the adaptive compensation of channel error in echo simulators as an example, the specific steps for obtaining error model and automatically generating error curve are provided. The proposed method has been validated during the testing process of a radar system. The accuracy of amplitude error extraction is better than 0.02dB, and the accuracy of phase error extraction is better than 0.2°, meeting the requirements of channel compensation. The proposed method is not only suitable for radar system testing, but also can be applied to channel error compensation of other systems with stable channel, avoidling complex manual operations and improving testing efficiency. |
