| Abstract: | Property is the representative works of Valerie Martin, one of American contemporary women novelists. From the three aspects of the situation of the solitary individual, freedom of choice, and the relationship between an individual and the other, the paper interprets existential thoughts em- bodied in this novel, so as to explore the process of the resistance of the individual body and mind and his pursuing the being value. |
