摘    要:GDBMS是作者设计并实现的一个实验性的工程图形数据库管理系统。它基于扩充关系数据模型,成功地完成了对工程图形数据的描述。 本文从图形的数据库表示出发,对几何实体的建模方法进行了分析,介绍了GDBMS中的图形数据模型及其实现方法。该数据模型吸取图元枚举法(PI方法),结构实体几何表示法(CSG法)和边界表示法(BR方法)的优点,在进行交互式图形编辑以及图形显示时,采用CSG结构,在数据库的存贮和处理时,采用扩充的BR方法。

Abstract:GDBMS is an experimental engineering graphical database management system designed and implemented by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of NU-AA. Based on the extended relational data model,engineering graphical data arc successfully described in this paper.From the view point of database representation of graphs, some geometric entity modeling methods are analysed and a new data model and its implementation technique used in GDBMS are also proposed.Our data model absorbs some merits from existing data modeling methods such as Primitive Instancing (PI) .Constructive Solid Geometry (CSG) and Boundary Representation (BR) and so forth. The CSG structure is taken when interactive editing proceeds. And then the BR method is adopted in the graphic data processing and storing.
