A method for derivation of closed-form solutions for the differential Riccati matrix equation for specific time-varying systems is presented. It allows more insight into the nature of the solution. It reduces the on-line computation requirements, since it does not require on-line solution of a differential equation. Sufficient conditions for the existence of the closed-form solution are given. Explicit formulas of optimal guidance laws for an acceleration-constrained, arbitrary-order missile and maneuvering target are derived. These formulas are given in terms of the transfer function and acceleration constraint of the missile and the transfer function/shaping filter of the target. Optimal full-state feedback guidance law is synthesized against a target performing a barrel roll maneuver, and compared with the performance of proportional navigation (PN) for minimum and nonminimum phase missile. Inherent search volume is proposed as a tool for systematic comparison of modern phased-array surveillance radar systems. The advantage of the inherent search volume over the existing approaches based on single-scan and cumulative probability of detection is that the inherent search volume depends only on the unadjustable parameters of the radar. A comparison algorithm based on the inherent search volume criterion is presented.  相似文献

An approach for online identification and control that requires weaker excitation than the existing approaches based on least-squares schemes and closed-loop systems is examined. It uses multiple-objective optimization theory to resolve the conflict between identification and controller performance as they compete for the only available resource, the inputs to the aircraft. The approach is applied to a longitudinal model of a representative linearized high-performance aircraft model. Simulation results compare the final controller with a conventional gain-scheduled pitch command augmentation system. It is demonstrated that by allowing some control input to be given to the identification process, the controller's overall performance is improved  相似文献

An explicit closed-form formula of a discrete guidance law for a linear time-invariant, acceleration commanded, arbitrary-order missile and a linear, time-invariant arbitrary-order, maneuvering target is derived. The formula is given in terms of the missile and target transfer functions and responses to initial conditions. Examples are explicitly solved for zero-lag and a first-order missile. As an example, it is shown that the discrete proportional navigation ratio is higher than 3 and time varying in contrast to the continuous case.<>  相似文献

A control algorithm for control of linear uncertain systems is presented. This algorithm is applied to the control of an unstable nonminimum phase uncertain dynamic vehicle. The algorithm is based on the state and parameters observability canonical (SPOC) form and a certainty equivalence pole placement controller. The algorithm provides single controller for the problem of the uncertain dynamic vehicle that approaches the performance of a controller designed for perfectly known parameters within the whole range of the plant's parameters uncertainty. The algorithm is globally bounded input bounded output stable and needs only the knowledge of the order of the plant. The algorithm is presented and its performance is demonstrated by simulations  相似文献
