A series-parallel resonant converter employing (LC)(LC)-type tank circuit operating in lagging power factor (PF) mode is presented and analyzed using complex ac circuit analysis. Design curves are obtained and the converter is optimized under certain constraints. Detailed Space Integrated Control Experiment (SPICE) simulation results are presented to evaluate the performance of the designed converter under varying load conditions. Results obtained from an experimental converter are also presented. The results obtained from the theory, SPICE simulation, and the experimental converter are compared. The proposed converter has high efficiency from full load to very light load (<10%). Switching frequency variation required for a wide change in the load (near load open circuit to full load) is narrow compared with the series resonant converter (SRC)  相似文献

A 1 /spl phi/ high-frequency (HF) transformer isolated, soft-switching single-stage ac-dc converter with low line-current harmonic distortion is presented. Its operation is explained with equivalent circuits for the various intervals. The converter is analyzed and design curves are obtained. An optimization parameter is introduced and a systematic design procedure is illustrated with a design example. Detailed SPICE simulation and experimental results of a 500 W converter with load as well as line voltage variation are given to verify theory. The proposed converter employs a zero-voltage transition (ZVT) network to ensure zero-voltage switching (ZVS) at all loads, and natural power factor correction is ensured using a simple control circuit.  相似文献

A number of high-frequency link power converter schemes suitable for interconnecting a photovoltaic (PV) array to the utility line using resonant inverters are presented. Use of high-frequency resonant inverters (HFRI) results in reduced size, weight and cost. Scheme 1 uses the HFRI-cycloconverter, scheme 2 uses the HFRI-rectifier pulsewidth-modulated voltage source inverter, scheme 3 uses the HFRI-rectifier line commutated inverter working with a fixed maximum possible inverting fringe angle, and scheme 4 uses the HFRI-rectifier line-connected inverter (with line current modulation). These schemes are compared. Based on the comparison, scheme 3 was selected for an initial study. To overcome various problems associated with scheme 3, the line current is modulated sinusoidally in scheme 4. In this scheme, the HFRI is controlled appropriately to obtain a rectified sine wave of 120 Hz in the DC link and the function of the line-connected inverter is to unfold this waveform on alternate half cycles to obtain a sinusoidal line current with the line voltage. Methods of commutation of the line connected inverter are explained. Experimental results obtained with scheme 4 are presented  相似文献

A modified series-parallel high-frequency resonant DC/DC converter configuration is proposed. A simplified steady-state analysis of the converter, including the effect of a high-frequency transformer using complex circuit analysis, is presented. Based on the analysis, a simple design procedure is given. The effect of magnetizing inductances of the high-frequency transformer on the performance of the converter is discussed. Detailed experimental results obtained from a MOSFET (metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect-transistor)-based 1-kW converter are presented to verify the analysis. The converter presented has almost constant efficiency from full load to quarter load, and the converter has load short circuit capability  相似文献

A soft switching boost converter with zero-voltage transition (ZVT) main switch using zero-current switching (ZCS) auxiliary switch is proposed. Operating intervals of the converter are presented and analyzed. Design considerations are discussed. A design example with experimental results obtained from a 600 W, 100 kHz, 380 V output, power factor corrected, ac-to-dc, boost converter using insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs) is presented, Results show that the main switch maintains ZVT while the auxiliary switch retains ZCS for the complete specified line and load conditions  相似文献

Solar prominences are magnetic structures incarcerating cool and dense gas in an otherwise hot solar corona. Prominences can be categorized as quiescent and active. Their origin and the presence of cool gas (104?K) within the hot (106K) solar corona remains poorly understood. The structure and dynamics of solar prominences was investigated in a large number of observational and theoretical (both analytical and numerical) studies. In this paper, an analytic model of quiescent solar prominence is developed and used to demonstrate that the prominence velocity increases exponentially, which means that some gas falls downward towards the solar surface, and that Alfvén waves are naturally present in the solar prominences. These theoretical predictions are consistent with the current observational data of solar quiescent prominences.  相似文献

A high-frequency DC-DC converter using a parallel resonant inverter operating above resonance is analyzed using a state-space approach and a constant current model. Closed-form solutions are obtained under steady-state conditions. The analysis shows that with some changes most equations are of the same form as those corresponding to operations below resonance. The analysis is also used to obtain the design curves and to provide a simple design procedure, which is illustrated by a design example. Experimental results obtained with a prototype MOSFET unit (using metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors as switches and operating above 90 kHz) are presented to support the theory  相似文献

A three-phase dc-to-dc LCC-type resonant converter with high-frequency transformer isolation is proposed. The operation and a simple analysis of the converter are presented. Design curves are obtained and a design example is given. SPICE simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the performance of the proposed converter for varying load conditions. The converter proposed has several advantages, e.g., operation in lagging PF mode for the entire load range, requires a narrow variation required in switching frequency, reduced component size and stresses, etc  相似文献

A high-frequency (HF) link parallel resonant DC/DC converter operating in the lagging power factor mode with the resonating capacitor on the secondary side of the HF transformer is analyzed using a state-space approach. Closed-form solutions (except for the duration of diode conduction) are obtained for steady-state conditions, and design curves are obtained. A method of obtaining optimum operating point under certain constraints is developed and is used as the basis of a simple design procedure. A theoretical study comparing the performance of three MOSFET-based 1-kW converters with different transformer turn ratios under load changes from rated-load to 10% load is carried out. Experimental results obtained with these converters with different transformer turn ratios are also presented  相似文献
