The problem of achieving the optimum moving target indicator (MTI) detection performance in strong clutter of unknown spectrum when the set of data available to the estimation of clutter statistics is small due to a severely nonhomogeneous environment is studied. A new adaptive implementation, called the Doppler domain localized generalized likelihood ratio processor (DDL-GLR), is proposed, and its detection performance is studied in detail. It is shown that the DDL-GLR is a data-efficient implementation of the high-order optimum detector and has several advantages of practical importance over the adaptive processors  相似文献

研究了基于自适应图像杂波抑制的微弱点状动目标检测技术。首先利用四叉树算法,将原始的非平稳图像分割成多个准平稳的图像子块,然后对各子块进行LS自适应背景杂波估计与抑制,从而获得准高斯白噪声背景;再利用目标运动连续性假设,将目标在相邻多帧上的位置状态模型化为高阶马尔可夫数据链,建立轨迹状态空间;根据该模型采用多帧沿轨迹非线性集成算法进行检测。既克服了传统的三维匹配算法造成搜索次数巨大的弱点,同时也避免了二维投影检测带来的信噪比下降。理论分析和大量仿真实验证明了其有效性。  相似文献

在低信噪比条件下,基于Hough变换的检测前跟踪算法是进行强杂波背景下目标航迹检测的一种手段。本文针对Hough变换后一个目标产生多条可能航迹以及航迹内可能存在杂波点的问题,提出了一种基于能量最大点和点集合并的修正Hough变换检测前跟踪算法。该算法利用量测点时序、能量信息及目标速度先验信息对Hough变换后点迹进行关联和剔除,能够有效的对目标原始航迹进行回溯。针对高斯噪声背景下的飞行目标,仿真结果表明该算法能够对微弱目标进行有效检测,在目标数目、杂波密度、信噪比发生变化的条件下仍能保持较高的检测概率。  相似文献

High range resolution (HRR) moving target indicator (MTI) is becoming increasingly important for many military and civilian applications such as the detection and classification of moving targets in strong clutter background. We consider the problem of extracting the HRR features of moving targets with very closely spaced scatterers in the presence of strong stationary clutter, where the range migration and Doppler frequency are taken into account. A relaxation-based algorithm, which is robust and computationally simple, is proposed to deal with the above problem. Application of Three-Dimensional Filtering to Moving Target Detection   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
The standard approach to the detection of a stationary target immersed within an optically observed scene is to use integration to separate the target energy from the background clutter. When the target is nonstationary and moves with fixed velocity relative to the clutter, the procedure for integrating the target signal is no longer obvious. In this paper it is shown that the problem of tracking a target having a fixed velocity can be cast into a general framework of three-dimensional filter theory. From this point of view, the target detection problem reduces to the problem of finding optimal three-dimensional filters in the three-dimensional transform domain and processing the observed scene via this filtering. The design of these filters is presented, taking into account the target, clutter, and optical detection models. Performance is computed for a basic clutter model, showing the effective increase in detectability as a function of the target velocity. The three-dimensional transform approach is readily compatible with VLSI array processing technology.  相似文献

针对机载多输入多输出(MIMO)雷达杂波分布呈现空时耦合特性,提出一种空时自适应杂波对消器.利用机载MIMO雷达的脉冲回波数据,构造杂波对消器的系数矩阵.通过空时自适应杂波对消器的预处理,可以有效地抑制杂波,并通过与常规空时处理算法的级联,最终可以有效提高动目标的检测性能.实现了由传统地基雷达杂波对消器向机载运动平台的推广.仿真结果表明,这种自适应杂波对消器不仅适用于正侧视雷达,对于非正侧视雷达也同样适用.  相似文献

In this paper three-dimensional (3-D) finite-impulse response (FIR) filters are proposed for moving target detection and tracking from multiframe space-based infrared (SBIR) data. An optimal, in the lp sense, 3-D FIR filter design technique is proposed which is suitable for the above application. This technique is the first 3-D FIR design of its kind presented in the open literature. Directional, matched, and adaptive 3-D filtering techniques are proposed. Prior to the filtering, clutter mean estimation and mean subtraction are required. Real time implementation of directional and/or matched filters for processing maneuvering targets is discussed and filter design methods are proposed. Finally, performance comparisons of the proposed and other available 3-D FIR and infinite-impulse response (IIR) filters, on real SBIR data, are presented in which the advantages of the proposed 3-D filters are shown  相似文献

为提高海杂波中慢速目标的检测性能,提出了一种基于固有模态函数(IMF)频域熵的目标检测算法。该算法对原始信号经 EMD分解后得到的固有模态函数采用 Fourier变换,自动地提取其各个分量的频域能量,以此获得 IMF能量分布特点,再运用信息熵的方法构建检验统计量,并将其输入非参量检测器中进行目标检测。研究结果表明,相比于海杂波、海尖峰,慢速目标的能量分布更为分散,熵值更大,对比频域广义符号(GS)检测算法,所提 方法检测性能更优,适用于慢速目标检测。  相似文献

In this paper, a method of radar target detection based on 2-dimensional (2D) fractal dimension is proposed. The proposed approach exploits both range information and azimuth information to estimate fractal dimension. Moreover, the approach can increase the number of the data points. The above two merits result in the fractal dimension estimated by this method is more accurate and robust than the previous method. The detection performance is also better than the previous one, which only makes use of 1-dimensional (1-D) information to estimate fractal dimension. Theoretical analysis and experimental result show that the proposed method performs well in strong clutter background. The proposed method is also validated by real-life radar data, and the better result has been achieved.  相似文献

The derivation of a completely adaptive polarimetric coherent scheme to detect a radar target against a Gaussian background is presented. A previously proposed Generalized Likelihood Ratio Test (GLRT) polarimetric detector is extended to the case of a general number of channels; this exploits the polarimetric characteristics of the received radar echoes to improve the detection performance. Together with the fully adaptive scheme, a model-based detector is derived that has a lower estimation loss. A complete theoretical expression is derived for the detection performance of both proposed polarimetric detectors. They are shown to have Constant False Alarm Rate (CFAR) when operating against Gaussian clutter, but to be sensitive to deviations from the Gaussian statistic. 提高高分辨率SAR图像在复杂战场环境中的目标识别能力,对防御未来战争中来自地面目标的威胁具有重要意义。针对地面特定目标的大小、方位、旋转等变化以及强杂波背景给目标识别带来的严重影响,提出将目标的三维模型投影到二维平面,采用余弦傅里叶矩和瑞利分布的CFAR检测方法分别对其矩特征和峰值特征进行提取,利用级联组合分类器对目标识别进行建模分析,并通过试验验证该方法的有效性。结果表明:该方法实现了在特征维数高和姿态变化下的目标识别,而且无需额外增加对制导控制系统的开销。  相似文献

An overall methodology is described for the application of a multiple hypothesis tracking (MHT) algorithm to the infrared (IR) surveillance system problem of establishing tracks on dim targets in a heavy clutter or false alarm background. The authors discuss the manner in which the detection and tracking systems are jointly designed to optimize performance. They present approximate methods that can conveniently be used for preliminary system design and performance prediction. 传统的后多普勒自适应处理方法,如因子法(FA)和扩展因子法(EFA)虽然能大大降低自适应处理时的运算量和独立同分布样本的需求量,但由于实际中均匀训练样本数目的限制,当天线阵元数进一步增大时,FA和EFA抑制杂波和检测动目标的能力会显著恶化。针对这一问题,提出了一种空域数据重排的后多普勒自适应处理方法。该方法将多普勒滤波后的空域数据重排为一行列数相近的矩阵,空域滤波器权系数也表示成可分离的形式,从而得到一双二次代价函数,利用循环迭代的思想求解权系数。实验表明该方法具有快速收敛,所需训练样本少的优点,尤其在大阵列、小样本条件下该方法抑制杂波的性能明显优于FA和EFA。  相似文献

The problem of adaptive radar detection in clutter which is nonstationary both in slow and fast time is addressed. Nonstationarity within a coherent processing interval (CPI) often precludes target detection because of the masking induced by Doppler spreading of the clutter. Across range bins (i.e., fast time), nonstationarity severely limits the amount of training data available to estimate the noise covariance matrix required for adaptive detection. Such difficult clutter conditions are not uncommon in complex multipath propagation conditions where path lengths can change abruptly in dynamic scenarios. To mitigate nonstationary Doppler spread clutter, an approximation to the generalized likelihood ratio test (GLRT) detector is presented wherein the CPI from the hypothesized target range is used for both clutter estimation and target detection. To overcome the lack of training data, a modified time-varying autoregressive (TVAR) model is assumed for the clutter return. In particular, maximum likelihood (ML) estimates of the TVAR parameters, computed from a single snapshot of data, are used in a GLRT for detecting stationary targets in possibly abruptly nonstationary clutter. The GLRT is compared with three alternative methods including a conceptually simpler ad hoc approach based on extrapolation of quasi-stationary data segments. Detection performance is assessed using simulated targets in both synthetically-generated and real radar clutter. Results suggest the proposed GLRT with TVAR clutter modeling can provide between 5–8 dB improvement in signal-to-clutter plus noise ratio (SCNR) when compared with the conventional methods.  相似文献

A constant false alarm rate (CFAR) detection method which is based on a combination of median and morphological filters (MEMO) is proposed. The MEMO algorithm has robust performance with small CFAR loss, very good behavior at clutter edges and high detection performance in the case of closely spaced narrowband signals (targets). This completes the results presented in Part I for the Gaussian background. A Texture Free-Generalized Likelihood Ratio Test (TF-GLRT) detector is derived that exploits the polarimetric characteristics of the received radar echoes to improve the detection performance.
