Reconstructed attitude data for the Hipparcos mission as obtained in the final stages of the data analysis for the published catalogue is used to derive detailed information on the dynamics of the satellite. Most elements of the inertia tensor of the satellite could be calibrated from the observed acceleration data, which are also used to reconstruct torques due to solar radiation and gravity gradient, and the magnetic moment of the satellite and it's interaction with the magnetic field surounding the Earth. The effects of the oblateness of the Earth on the gravity gradient are evaluated and shown to be negligable. The magnetic field model includes both the `main' and the `disturbance' fields. The remaining systematic effects in residual torques are most likely attributed to variations in the magnetic field that are local and are beyond the models used to describe it. The angular momentum vector for one of the gyros was reconstructed from the torque it asserted on the satellite while it was running in redundant mode. The magnetic field experiment on ACE provides continuous measurements of the local magnetic field in the interplanetary medium. These measurements are essential in the interpretation of simultaneous ACE observations of energetic and thermal particles distributions. The experiment consists of a pair of twin, boom- mounted, triaxial fluxgate sensors which are located 165 inches (=4.19 m) from the center of the spacecraft on opposing solar panels. The electronics and digital processing unit (DPU) is mounted on the top deck of the spacecraft. The two triaxial sensors provide a balanced, fully redundant vector instrument and permit some enhanced assessment of the spacecraft's magnetic field. The instrument provides data for Browse and high-level products with between 3 and 6 vector s−1 resolution for continuous coverage of the interplanetary magnetic field. Two high-resolution snapshot buffers each hold 297 s of 24 vector s−1 data while on- board Fast Fourier Transforms extend the continuous data to 12 Hz resolution. Real-time observations with 1-s resolution are provided continuously to the Space Environmental Center (SEC) of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) for near- instantaneous, world-wide dissemination in service to space weather studies. As has been our team's tradition, high instrument reliability is obtained by the use of fully redundant systems and extremely conservative designs. We plan studies of the interplanetary medium in support of the fundamental goals of the ACE mission and cooperative studies with other ACE investigators using the combined ACE dataset as well as other ISTP spacecraft involved in the general program of Sun-Earth Connections. Autonomous orbit determination via integration of epoch-differenced gravity gradients and starlight refraction is proposed in this paper for low-Earth-orbiting satellites operating in GPS-denied environments.Starlight refraction compensates for the significant along-track position error that occurs from only using gravity gradients and benefits from integration in terms of improved accuracy in radial and cross-track position estimates.The between-epoch differencing of gravity gradients is employed to eliminate slowly varying measurement biases and noise near the orbit revolution frequency.The refraction angle measurements are directly used and its Jacobian matrix derived from an implicit observation equation.An information fusion filter based on a sequential extended Kalman filter is developed for the orbit determination.Truth-model simulations are used to test the performance of the algorithm,and the effects of differencing intervals and orbital heights are analyzed.A semi-simulation study using actual gravity gradient data from the Gravity field and steady-state Ocean Circulation Explorer (GOCE) combined with simulated starlight refraction measurements is further conducted,and a three-dimensional position accuracy of better than 100 m is achieved.  相似文献

 针对现有微磁数字罗盘成本高、输出频率低、动态定姿时易发散等问题,结合微小型无人机(MUAV)导航与控制系统的组成特点,设计了一种利用MUAV机载微惯性测量单元(MIMU)中的天向陀螺输出判断无人机的运动状态,采用MIMU中的3轴加速度计组件测量的地球重力矢量,配合3轴磁阻传感器测量的地球磁场矢量,共同进行姿态确定的微磁数字罗盘集成系统。对传统的环境干扰磁场校正方法进行了完善与验证,使之适合于空间三维定姿。试验结果表明:系统总体性能良好,航向精度可达0.5°,成本为同类产品的1/5,输出响应可达50 Hz,满足应用于MUAV导航控制系统的微磁数字罗盘的高精度、低成本和实时性的要求。  相似文献

随着重力测量和水下导航技术的发展,惯性/重力匹配导航技术因其精度高、自主性强和航时长等优点,已成为水下自主导航的重要研究方向。惯性/重力匹配导航系统主要由惯性导航系统、重力实时测量、海洋重力场背景图和重力匹配定位算法构成。重力匹配定位算法通过将实时测量的重力异常值与构建的重力场背景图进行匹配,得到水下运载体当前时刻的位置信息,是惯性/重力匹配导航技术的核心。本文详细介绍了重力匹配算法的技术发展现状,重点分析了具有代表性的ICCP算法、SITAN算法、矢量匹配算法及其衍生算法,并对惯性/重力匹配水下自主导航技术的未来发展进行了展望。  相似文献

The Juno Magnetic Field investigation (MAG) characterizes Jupiter’s planetary magnetic field and magnetosphere, providing the first globally distributed and proximate measurements of the magnetic field of Jupiter. The magnetic field instrumentation consists of two independent magnetometer sensor suites, each consisting of a tri-axial Fluxgate Magnetometer (FGM) sensor and a pair of co-located imaging sensors mounted on an ultra-stable optical bench. The imaging system sensors are part of a subsystem that provides accurate attitude information (to ~20 arcsec on a spinning spacecraft) near the point of measurement of the magnetic field. The two sensor suites are accommodated at 10 and 12 m from the body of the spacecraft on a 4 m long magnetometer boom affixed to the outer end of one of ’s three solar array assemblies. The magnetometer sensors are controlled by independent and functionally identical electronics boards within the magnetometer electronics package mounted inside Juno’s massive radiation shielded vault. The imaging sensors are controlled by a fully hardware redundant electronics package also mounted within the radiation vault. Each magnetometer sensor measures the vector magnetic field with 100 ppm absolute vector accuracy over a wide dynamic range (to 16 Gauss = \(1.6 \times 10^{6}\mbox{ nT}\) per axis) with a resolution of ~0.05 nT in the most sensitive dynamic range (±1600 nT per axis). Both magnetometers sample the magnetic field simultaneously at an intrinsic sample rate of 64 vector samples per second. The magnetic field instrumentation may be reconfigured in flight to meet unanticipated needs and is fully hardware redundant. The attitude determination system compares images with an on-board star catalog to provide attitude solutions (quaternions) at a rate of up to 4 solutions per second, and may be configured to acquire images of selected targets for science and engineering analysis. The system tracks and catalogs objects that pass through the imager field of view and also provides a continuous record of radiation exposure. A spacecraft magnetic control program was implemented to provide a magnetically clean environment for the magnetic sensors, and residual spacecraft fields and/or sensor offsets are monitored in flight taking advantage of Juno’s spin (nominally 2 rpm) to separate environmental fields from those that rotate with the spacecraft.  相似文献

An error covariance analysis of a two-dimensional Karhunen-Loeve random field estimator (KLE) for gridded gravity data is presented without actually using the data. Attention is focused particularly on the north-south deflection component of the disturbance vector so that the rms value of its residual error may not exceed 3 percent of the signal rms for grid spacing of not less than 5 nm, when signal-to-noise ratio in the data is varied within reasonable limits. To achieve this rather stringent goal, a discrete KLE derived entirely from a two-dimensional grid configuration is needed. The KLE for geodesy applications was developed initially by Bose. Using continuous measurements and the orthogonality relations of the Karhunen-Loeve (KL) eigenvectors in a continuous domain, continuous KL gain coefficients ?mnj and consequently the continuous KL gain vector Kmn were obtained; thus a satisfactory continuous KLE was achieved. However the discrete version of the KLE was then given by keeping the old (continuous) ?mnj, and simply computing the KL eigenvectors on the grid coordinates to evaluate the discrete KL gain vector Kmn. Clearly this is not a satisfactory discrete KLE since , ?mnj are not constants but rather depend on the measurement noise variances. So if the measurements are now going to be discrete, one must rederive ?mnj for this situation.  相似文献

Aeromagnetic interference could not be compensated effectively if the precision of parameters which are solved by the aircraft magnetic field model is low. In order to improve the compensation effect under this condition, a method based on small signal model and least mean square(LMS) algorithm is proposed. According to the method, the initial values of adaptive filter's weight vector are calculated with the solved model parameters through small signal model at first,then the small amount of direction cosine and its derivative are set as the input of the filter, and the small amount of the interference is set as the filter's expected vector. After that, the aircraft magnetic interference is compensated by LMS algorithm. Finally, the method is verified by simulation and experiment. The result shows that the compensation effect can be improved obviously by the LMS algorithm when original solved parameters have low precision. The method can further improve the compensation effect even if the solved parameters have high precision.  相似文献

 提出了一种对磁强计/太阳敏感器的无姿态信息的在轨实时标定方法。在现有的标定算法中,仅采用地磁矢量的模作为观测量,本文引入地磁矢量与太阳矢量之间的数量积作为观测量,增强了其可观性,也使对太阳敏感器的实时标定成为可能。扩展卡尔曼滤波器(Extended Kalman Filter,EKF)虽然获得广泛应用,但其线性化过程会引入截断误差,而无香卡尔曼滤波器(Unscented Kalman Filter,UKF)是非线性滤波方法,不须对系统进行线性化。分别利用EKF与UKF的滤波标定算法进行标定研究,仿真结果表明了本文算法的有效性,如磁强计偏置的标定精度,UKF比EKF高26%。  相似文献

The Cluster mission provides a new opportunity to study plasma processes and structures in the near-Earth plasma environment. Four-point measurements of the magnetic field will enable the analysis of the three dimensional structure and dynamics of a range of phenomena which shape the macroscopic properties of the magnetosphere. Difference measurements of the magnetic field data will be combined to derive a range of parameters, such as the current density vector, wave vectors, and discontinuity normals and curvatures, using classical time series analysis techniques iteratively with physical models and simulation of the phenomena encountered along the Cluster orbit. The control and understanding of error sources which affect the four-point measurements are integral parts of the analysis techniques to be used. The flight instrumentation consists of two, tri-axial fluxgate magnetometers and an on-board data-processing unit on each spacecraft, built using a highly fault-tolerant architecture. High vector sample rates (up to 67 vectors s-1) at high resolution (up to 8 pT) are combined with on-board event detection software and a burst memory to capture the signature of a range of dynamic phenomena. Data-processing plans are designed to ensure rapid dissemination of magnetic-field data to underpin the collaborative analysis of magnetospheric phenomena encountered by Cluster.  相似文献

 研究了基于极化敏感阵列的相干信号参数估计问题。首先,提出一种利用均匀线性极化敏感阵列的新型极化平滑算法(ULAPSA),其能够处理更多相干信号的参数估计,且具有更小的计算量。然后,基于ULAPSA给出了波达方向(DOA)和极化参数估计的两种方法:第1种方法利用角度搜索得到信号的DOA估计,适应任何多分量的电磁矢量传感器阵列;第2种方法结合传播算子算法,无需奇异值分解和角度搜索,能够同时估计信号的DOA和极化参数。该方法适应完备的电磁矢量传感器、三偶极子或三磁环构成的矢量传感器。最后,通过仿真实验比较和分析了所提算法的性能。  相似文献

Direct measurements of the geomagnetic field have been made for more than 400 years, beginning with individual determinations of the angle between geographic and magnetic North. This was followed by the start of continuous time series of full vector measurements at geomagnetic observatories and the beginning of geomagnetic repeat stations surveys in the 19th century. In the second half of the 20th century, true global coverage with geomagnetic field measurements was accomplished by magnetometer payloads on low-Earth-orbiting satellites. This article describes the procedures and instruments for magnetic field measurements on ground and in space and covers geomagnetic observatories, repeat stations, automatic observatories, satellites and historic observations. A novel adaptive control algorithm for the field-oriented control of a CSI-fed induction machine is presented. It includes an adaptive flux model for determining the position and magnitude of the rotor field vector, which avoids the need to obtain the orientation and magnitude of the flux for purposes of feedback. This online estimation of field vector requires the measurements of stator voltage and rotor speed. The algorithm has been tested by simulating the machine using a digital computer. The controller perform well, and the machine parameters are estimated with reasonable accuracy. The controller has a self-adjusting mechanism and adjusts itself to any variation of machine parameters during operation. It can be applied to any machine and requires no tuning. We examine the magnetic field in the martian magnetosheath due to solar wind draping. Mars Global Surveyor provided 3-D vector magnetic field measurements at a large range of altitudes, local times, and solar zenith angles as the spacecraft orbit evolved. We choose orbits with very clean signatures of draping to establish the nominal morphology of the magnetic field lines at local times of near-subsolar and near-terminator. Next, using a compilation of data from Mars Global Surveyor, we determine the average magnetic field morphology in the martian magnetosheath due to the solar wind interaction. The topology of the field is as expected from previous observations and predictions. The magnetic field magnitude peaks at low altitude and noon magnetic local time and decreases away from that point. The magnetic field has an inclination from the local horizontal of 5.6° on average in the dayside magnetosheath and 12.5° on the nightside. The inclination angle is closest to zero at noon magnetic local time and low altitude. It increases both upward and to later local times. The magnetic field in the induced magnetotail flares out from the Mars—Sun direction by 21°. Finally, we compare the observations to gasdynamic model predictions and find that the shocked solar wind flow in the martian magnetosheath can be treated as a gasdynamic flow with the magnetic pileup boundary as the inner boundary to the flow.  相似文献

利用三轴磁强计的测量信息可实时地确定卫星轨道。采用扩展卡尔曼滤波作为处理磁测自主定轨问题的滤波算法.并以地磁场强度幅值作为测量值,建立了近地卫星磁测自主定轨的数学模型。在数学模型的基础上实现了基于PC机、dSPACE一体化系统的原型化(Prototyping)实验。该原型化实验对磁测自主定轨的方案、理论、算法及实时运行特性做了进一步的验证。  相似文献
