A new class of AC/DC converter topologies (Type-1 converters) is described, suitable for use in an advanced single-phase sine-wave voltage, high-frequency power distribution system, of the type that was proposed for a 20 kHz Space Station primary electrical power distribution system. The converter comprises a transformer, a resonant network, a current controller, a diode rectifier, and an output filter. The input AC voltage source is converted into a sinusoidal current source using the resonant network. The output of this current source is rectified by the diode rectifier and is controlled by the current controller. The controlled rectified current is then filtered by the output filter to obtain a constant voltage across the load. Three distinct converter topologies, Type-1A, Type-1B, and Type 1-C, are described, and their performance characteristics are presented. All three types have a close-to-unity rated power factor (greater than 0.98), low total harmonic distortion in input current (less than 5%), and high conversion efficiency (greater than 96%)  相似文献

Three pulse-width modulation (PWM) control schemes for a single-phase power-factor-correction (PFC) AC/DC converter are presented to improve the power quality. A diode bridge with two power switches is employed as a PFC circuit to achieve a high power factor and low line current harmonic distortion. The control schemes are based on look-up tables with hysteresis current controller (HCC) to generate two-level or three-level PWM on the DC side of diode rectifier. Based on the proposed three control schemes, the line current is driven to follow the sinusoidal current command which is in phase with the supply voltage, and two capacitor voltages on the DC bus are controlled to be balanced. The simulation and experimental results of a 1 kW converter with load as well as line voltage variation and shown to verify the proposed control schemes. It is shown that unity PFC is achieved using a simple control circuit and the measured line current harmonics satisfy the IEC 1000-3-2 requirements  相似文献

 目前变频交流(AC)电源系统开始逐渐应用到新型多电飞机(MEA)中,传统有源滤波器无法满足宽输入频率变化要求,为此需要设计一种适合于宽变频航空电源系统的有源滤波器。本文研究了一种应用于航空变频电源系统的新型串联混合有源滤波器(SHAPF),该有源滤波器直接根据基波电流进行补偿,针对各种频率输入均能起到较好的抑制谐波作用。讨论了这种新型SHAPF的变频谐波抑制原理,给出了该滤波器的控制系统详细设计过程,包括基于双数字信号处理器(DSP)的控制平台设计和逐点动态检测基波电流的算法设计,最后进行了样机实验,对比了加入滤波器前后系统输入电流实验波形和谐波分析,加入滤波器后系统输入电流总谐波失真度(THD)由174.00%变化至4.80%,滤波效果良好;在360 Hz,400 Hz和720 Hz不同输入频率进行了滤波实验,验证系统在宽变频输入条件下均具有良好控制性能,满足航空变频输入时输入功率因数校正要求。  相似文献

A hybrid resonant inverter system is presented that satisfies the steady-state operating requirements of a power source for the proposed International Space Station mobile servicing system. The steady-state behavior of the inverter was analyzed and a method is described for optimizing the design of the resonant network. The performance characteristics such as the total harmonic distortion of the output voltage, RMS output voltage, and the inverter efficiency are presented. A dynamically robust current control method to synthesize a sinusoidal input current for AC-to-DC converters with boost type topology is presented. Under this control strategy, the inductor current and the diode current of the boost converter are fed back and combined in a special way which makes the input current of the AC-to-DC converter stable and robust. The input current is solely determined by the reference current. When the reference current signal is derived from the sinusoidal input voltage, the input current is sinusoidal and in phase with the input voltage. Theoretical analysis is first provided. Small signal analysis shows that the current loop is inherently stable and has a fast dynamic response. Large signal analysis reveals that the control system is not affected by large disturbances in supply voltage or output load. Computer simulations have been carried out and experimental prototype models have been built to verify the analysis and demonstrate the feasibility of the control strategy. A power factor of 0.998 and a total harmonic distortion (THD) of 3.18% are measured.  相似文献

A new soft-switched ac-dc single-stage pulse width modulation (PWM) full-bridge converter is proposed. The converter operates with zero-voltage switching (ZVS), fixed switching frequency, and with a continuous input current that is sinusoidal and in phase with the input voltage. This is in contrast with other ac-dc single-stage PWM full-bridge converters that are either resonant converters operating with variable switching frequency control and high conduction losses, converters whose switches cannot operate with ZVS, or converters that cannot perform power factor correction (PFC) unless the input current is discontinuous. All converter switches operate with soft-switching due to a simple auxiliary circuit that is used for only a small fraction of the switching cycle. The operation of the converter is explained and analyzed, guidelines for the design of the converter are given, and its feasibility is shown with results obtained from an experimental prototype.  相似文献

为了消除高峰均功率比低频脉冲负载对有限容量机载交流供电系统的周期性冲击等不利影响,对开关器件进行集成和复用,提出了能够同时提供功率解耦端口和直流输出端口的三端口功率解耦整流器。通过将三端口整流器与DC/DC变换器组合,构造出集成低频脉冲功率解耦端口的机载电源系统,实现了直流侧周期性脉动功率和交流源侧功率的解耦,并保证低频脉冲负载正常供电需求。详细分析了三端口整流器的工作原理,提出了与之相适应的功率控制方法和调制策略,基于开关器件分时复用原理,实现了交流端口到两个直流端口的功率传输和分配,并实现了两个直流端口功率切换过程的平滑过渡。实验结果验证了所提三端口脉冲功率解耦整流器的有效性和可行性。  相似文献

 提出了一种新型的航空静止变流器方案, 采用分布式电能变换技术, 系统由规格统一、种类有限的印刷线路板构成, 没有高压功率器件, 可以克服目前静止变流器技术能量集中变换和结构复杂等缺点。变流器由4 个推挽正激变换器和4 级级联逆变器组成。分析了系统的工作原理和控制方案。研制的原理样机验证了该静止变流器具有效率高、输出波形质量好、可靠性高、工程实现简便等特点。  相似文献

A three-phase AC/DC/AC converter is presented with a power factor preregulator to improve the power quality in the input side and a pseudorandom noise generator to reduce the emitted acoustic noise and the mechanical vibration for an induction motor drive. The space vector modulation with hysteresis current control for a voltage source rectifier is adopted to simplify the hardware circuit. A control scheme is presented to drive the supply current following the reference current. The amplitude of reference current for the pulsewidth modulation (PWM) rectifier is derived from the DC bus voltage regulator and the estimated output power. Random switching frequency technique for a three-phase PWM inverter system to reduce the annoying tonal noise and resonant vibration from an induction motor is described. By randomly varying the instantaneous PWM switching frequency from one cycle to the next, the frequency distribution of harmonics is spread in a wide frequency range. The major advantage for using such a strategy is the nonrepetitive output spectral characteristic that results in reduction of torque pulsations in motor drive systems. The nearly unity power factor at the three-phase rectifier and the absence of acoustic noise concentrated at the specific tones which is usually present with conventional sinusoidal modulation are verified by the experimental tests  相似文献

A new procedure to start a jet engine (JE) and to generate power by means of a single induction machine (IM) directly coupled to the turbine is presented. The JE is brought to an initial speed by the motoring operation of the IM. Later, the IM is taken into generating mode and the turbine is applied to its excitation. The turbine catches up and starts to drive the induction generator (IG). The generated power is converted to a three-phase, 400 Hz voltage-regulated bus via a double stage power conversion utilizing a 20 kHz parallel resonant high frequency AC link and pulse density modulated converter technology. Independent of the engine speed, a constant amplitude and constant frequency three-phase voltage-regulated AC bus is formed and maintained by the proper control of the power converters. The feasibility of operation of such a system has been demonstrated in software where the JE turbine is modeled and replaced by a DC machine. An introduction, background, operation principles of the overall system, and the related software simulations are presented and discussed.  相似文献

This paper presents a capacity-limitation technique to enlarge the power capacity that can be handled by the shunt active power filters (APFs). The capacity limited includes the reactive power as well as the amplitude of the distortion current supplied by the APFs. Under capacity-limitation control m+1 APFs supply the load reactive power with m APFs supplying their rated power and one APF supplying a fraction of its rated value. Similarly, n+1 APFs supply the load current harmonic with n APFs supplying the distortion current limited in amplitude and one APF supplying a fraction of its limited amplitude. Advantages of the proposed approach include high flexibility for extending system capacity, high reliability due to no control interconnection, reducing power capacity demand of APF, high modularity due to identical APFs, stable reactive power and harmonic current sharing and its performance is insensitive to parameters mismatch of APFs, cost-effective due to modularization, and so on. The distributed power systems of future commercial aircraft will adopt variable frequency generation (360 to 800 Hz). Front-end converters in the system will be required to have a high efficiency and a low total harmonic distortion (THD) of the input current. This paper explains the design of a zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) active-clamped isolated low-harmonic SEPIC rectifier for such applications. Utilization of the transformer leakage inductance for ZVS and a single-layer transformer design contribute to a high efficiency. An accurate averaged switch model has been developed, which shows that the control-to-input-current transfer function of this converter does not exhibit resonances observed in the conventional SEPIC. As a result, for closed-loop operation using average current control, damping of the coupling capacitor is not required. Operating at a switching frequency of 200 kHz, an experimental 100 W, 28 V output rectifier achieves a THD of 3-4% and efficiency exceeding 90% over the entire line frequency range.  相似文献

Electric power generation and conditioning have experienced revolutionary development over the past two decades. Furthermore, new materials such as high energy magnets and high temperature superconductors are either available or on the horizon. Our work is based on the premise that new technologies are an important driver of new power system concepts and architectures. This observation is borne out by the historical evolution of power systems both in terrestrial and aerospace applications. This paper introduces new approaches to designing space power systems by using several new technologies. Two new architectures are introduced: the current source current intensive system and the articulate system. Basic characteristics of these systems have been investigated. Some aspects of the articulate system architecture, as discussed in this paper can be implemented in the short term. Flexible AC transmission systems which are now undergoing rapid development and implementation, can be regarded as a subset of the family of control methodologies which constitute the realm of articulate systems  相似文献

针对应用于交直交VSCF飞机电源系统的SPWM逆变器,提出了包含交流电流内环和交流电压外环的双闭环控制系统方案,利用交流瞬时值反馈的波形校正作用使逆变器输出电压波形得以改善。通过对单相1 kVA SPWM逆变器双闭环控制系统的设计分析和实验研究,结果表明:采用交流瞬时值反馈控制的SPWM逆变器具有较好的输出电压波形、动态响应特性和稳态调压精度,对逆变器输入直流电压的变化影响有很好的抑制作用,适合任由永磁无刷直流发电机供电的VSCF电源系统中应用。  相似文献

经逆变电路并网的分布式发电系统中,为了解决传统模型预测控制(MPC)在电路参数变化时系统动态响应不佳的问题,在ABC三相坐标下,提出一种基于扰动观测器(DOB)的改进型模型预测控制(AdMPCDOB)方案,对被控电流进行两步预测,同时采用多重比例谐振(PR)调节器作为MPC的前馈补偿,消除预测电流的周期性误差,并提高对特定次谐波的抑制能力。考虑到电路参数变化和不确定扰动对系统造成的影响,采用电感电流扰动观测器对MPC输入信号进行精确观测。理论分析和仿真试验表明,所提改进型控制方案能够有效提高逆变器输出电能质量,降低并网电流总谐波畸变率(THD)。  相似文献

飞机交流发电系统是整机的主要电力来源,应对其进行完善的安全性分析。传统安全性分析方法对系统组件间非线性交互引起的安全问题关注较少,当研制型号支持数据不足时,存在分析遗漏风险。根据典型交流发电系统供电转换过程基本特点,基于STPA方法构建安全控制结构图,识别不安全控制行为(UCA),引入相似系统的失效模式及影响分析(FMEA)结果,分析UCA致因因素和致因场景,使用时间自动机理论的形式化工具进行系统建模与验证;通过专家评判及事故对比来验证该方法的正确性。结果表明:在传统分析方法的基础上引入STPA方法,能够有效识别出不安全控制行为和事故发生的原因,该方法可以作为传统方法的有效补充。  相似文献

Conventional aircraft power system is a constant-frequency (CF) supply based on mechanical-regulated constant-speed mechanism that has relatively low efficiency. Replacing the CF system with variable-frequency (VF) power improves overall efficiency, and reduce the system's weight and volume. However, this creates a new tier of requirements and design challenges. Novel VF-power architecture is developed with minimization of the power losses throughout the stages of power conversions. Optimal partitioning and grouping of onboard AC loads has been discussed with specific system data. New VF-input multi-functional power converters are also briefly discussed.  相似文献

变频交流(AC)发电机在三级式恒频交流同步发电机的基础上发展而来,其宽的变速工作范围给发电机系统带来了新的特点,而变频交流起动发电机又是在变频交流发电机基础上进一步发展的,其运行条件及工作特性更为复杂。首先介绍变频交流发电机的结构特点,并给出其设计关键点以及变频工作对发电系统的影响;进一步针对变频交流起动发电机新增的起动功能,重点分析起动工作时励磁机的两种工作方式,并给出建议的工作方式。通过分析现有变频交流起动发电机及其起动发电系统,指出进一步提高其功率密度和效率是完全可能且必要的,从而为其在中国未来大型客机上的应用和发展提供参考与建议。  相似文献

多重化双向Buck/Boost变换器常作为能量交换接口用于储能系统中。采用基本建模法对三重化双向Buck/Boost变换器建立交流小信号模型,基于变换器的开环特性,设计了电压、电流补偿网络,在此基础上提出一种新的基于前馈校正的复合双闭环控制策略。为验证所提控制策略的正确性进行了MATLAB仿真研究。仿真结果表明:该控制策略可为三重化双向Buck/Boost变换器提供良好的动、稳态性能,同时对大范围的负载变化等扰动均具有很好的鲁棒性。  相似文献
