本文应用一维混合模拟方法数值研究了准平行无碰撞激波的结构.结果表明,激波上游的质子和准平行无碰撞激波相互作用后,有部分质子被激波反射,并向激波上游运动很长一段距离,从而激发起束流不稳定性,引起大振幅的共振右旋偏振的低频波动.这些波动在太阳风的带动下向激波下游运动,靠近激波后与激波合井,同时在激波的上游不断有新的波动产生.此过程能不断重复地进行.在平行无碰撞激波的情况下,在激波的下游还有大振幅的非共振右旋偏振的低频波动.激波上游的低频波动在向下游运动的过程中强度不断加强,最后超过原来激波的强度,形成新的激波.   相似文献

应用一维混合模拟方法数值研究了高密度等离子体团和行星际激波与准平行无碰撞激波的相互作用.结果表明,由于推平行无碰撞激波上游的大振幅低频波动的散射,除了在通过激波过渡区时稍有压缩外,等离子体团从激波的上游开始就一直是不断弥散的.行星际激波在向准平行无碰撞激波靠近的过程中,会在其上游产生大振幅的低频波动,同时行星际激波的强度不断增加,最后和准平行无碰撞激波会并成一个新的激波,在新激波前继续有大振幅的低频波动产生  相似文献

由于很大一部分来自激波上游的粒子被激波面所反射,因此在准平行无碰撞激波的上游存在着等离子体束流.通过一维混合模拟方法,计算了束流密度较小(nb/n0=0.02)和较大(nb/n0=0.2)两种不同情形下的等离子体束流不稳定性.结果表明,在束流密度较小时,束流激发的主要是平行于背景磁场方向传播的右旋波,此波动只能对束流粒子产生影响,包括减速和加热.在束流密度较大时,束流可同时激发平行和反平行于背景磁场方向传播的右旋波,除能对束流粒子产生影响外,还可通过非共振作用加速和加热背景粒子.文中对准平行无碰撞激波耗散机制的影响也进行了讨论。  相似文献

利用AP-8和CRRESPRO质子辐射带模式数据库, 比较了二者在磁赤道面上计算结果 的差异并给出其差异原因. 利用AP-8模式数据库数据, 建立起质子辐射带函数形式的辐射中心区域模式, 包括各能道全向微分通量峰值所对应的L值(Lc) 随能量E的变化模式以及各能道全向微分通量峰值Jmax随能量E的变化模式. 利用RBSP A卫星REPT望远镜在磁赤道面上的高能质子观测数据, 分别与 AP-8模式、CRRESPRO模式及本文所得辐射中心区域模式计算结果进行比较, 发现在78.9, 102.6和208MeV三个能道上, RBSP A卫星观测所得各能道全向微分 通量明显偏大, 而Lc与AP-8或本文辐射中心模式所得结果基本一致; RBSP A卫星也观测到CRRESPRO Quiet模式所得的隐性第二质子辐射带结构.   相似文献

辐射带高能电子通量波动与地磁暴警报   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
地球磁场捕获带电粒子形成辐射带,地磁场的扰动将导致带电粒子通量的变化.根据磁暴期间外辐射带高能电子通量起伏和波动的特点及规律,利用GOES卫星实时发布的5min分辨率高能电子微分通量数据,构建了高能电子通量波动指数,并分析了该指数与地磁活动的关系.结果表明,所提出的高能电子通量波动指数与地磁事件有很好的相关性,能起到地磁暴发生的指示剂作用,相对于目前空间环境业务化预报过程中广泛使用的3hKp指数,高能电子通量波动指数能更早地警报地磁暴的发生,是潜在有效的地磁暴警报辅助手段,能为空间环境预报中的地磁暴实时警报提供重要参考.   相似文献

2004 年11月9日WIND飞船探测到一个典型的行星际激波. 激波前行星际磁场为持续约50 min的弱南向磁场, 越过激波面, 磁场发生北向偏转且太阳风动压脉冲增强. 在此强动压脉冲增强结构作用下, 磁层被压缩至一个很小的区域. 激波作用于磁层时引起地球同步轨道 各区域高能粒子通量的响应, 但是不同磁地方时的高能粒子通量的响应不同, 表现出双模式扰动, 即在晨昏两侧各能段的电子和质子通量显著增强, 在子夜侧发生类似于亚暴的无色散粒子注入现象. 扰动从向阳面传输到背阳面, 向阳面粒子通量最先增强, 随后背阳面靠近晨昏两侧, 粒子通量开始增强, 最后子夜侧粒子通量表现出无色散高能粒子注入的特点. 另外, 在靠近正午侧, 质子通量先于电子通量发生响应, 在子夜侧电子通量则先于质子通量发生响应. 利用位于向阳面正午两侧的GOES-10 和 GOES-12卫星观测数据发现, 激波作用于磁层时靠近晨侧的磁场变化表现出简单压缩效应, 而靠近昏侧的磁场变化则显然不同, Bx分量减弱, Bz分量几乎减为零, 而By分量则显著增强. 此外, 位于近地磁尾低纬尾瓣区的TC-1卫星观测到激波触发的尾瓣SI现象.   相似文献

磁层中的超低频(ULF)波动在太阳风和磁层之间的能量输运过程中具有重要作用.ULF波动主要发生在内磁层,且内磁层中ULF波动影响粒子的加速及沉降,而在夜侧磁层尤其是磁尾等离子片中观测到的ULF波动比较少.基于中国自主磁层探测卫星TC-1的观测数据,发现了两例行星际激波导致的磁尾中心等离子片中ULF波动事件,并发现这两例ULF事例都包含很强的环向模驻波分量,与以往THEMIS卫星报道的同类事件观测特征相符.根据ULF波的观测特征,分析了这两例ULF波动的可能触发机制.研究结果有助于深入理解磁层对行星际激波的全球响应.   相似文献

考虑横越磁尾不同区域的数密度与离子温度的分布特点,取宁静磁尾温度、密度呈同样形态的非均匀分布,作为模拟计算的初态,对初始By为不同分布的3个算例作模拟计算.数值结果展示了3类磁结构的演化特征.考察磁尾中性片一个给定点的磁场变化,做出3个算例典型事件的磁场矢端图.它们从另一个侧面展示了磁尾通量绳型等离子体团、具有复杂闭合磁力线位形类似于“闭合环”的等离子体团,以及二维“磁岛”型等离子体团的特点.观测表明,多数磁尾等离子体团为具有强核心场的通量绳结构.通过跟踪一个通量绳型等离子体团的发展,作出等离子体团各方向速度与磁场强度随x演化的曲线.其中,vx与磁场强度|B|在近尾至中尾的计算值与Geotail卫星资料统计分析结果大致相符.此外,与Jin等取初始温度为均匀分布的计算结果相比,本文给出的通量绳型等离子体团,其内温度较高、密度较低,与资料分析结果的偏离也随之减小.  相似文献

Fluctuations of cosmic rays and interplanetary magnetic field upstream of interplanetary shocks are studied using data of ground-based polar neutron monitors as well as measurements of energetic particles and solar wind plasma parameters aboard the ACE spacecraft. It is shown that coherent cosmic ray fluctuations in the energy range from 10 keV to 1 GeV are often observed at the Earth’s orbit before the arrival of interplanetary shocks. This corresponds to an increase of solar wind turbulence level by more than the order of magnitude upstream of the shock. We suggest a scenario where the cosmic ray fluctuation spectrum is modulated by fast magnetosonic waves generated by flux of low-energy cosmic rays which are reflected and/or accelerated by an interplanetary shock.  相似文献

快磁声波是空间等离子体中一种接近垂直传播的右旋极化电磁波,能够在等离子体层内外传播.快磁声波与带电粒子的回旋共振相互作用能够导致高能电子随机加速和投掷角扩散、能量质子投掷角扩散等,从而影响辐射带高能带电粒子的动态过程.分别基于完整的色散关系和高密度近似的色散关系,在不同空间等离子体条件下研究多离子空间等离子体中不同传播角的快磁声波色散曲线,并计算了快磁声波与H+,He+和O+离子的最小共振能量.结果表明,当传播角较小时,采用高密度近似与采用完整色散关系计算的离子最小共振能量没有太大差别.在中低密度中强磁场空间等离子体中,传播角≥ 88°时高密度近似色散关系会带来很大的误差,因此应利用完整色散关系计算最小共振能量.   相似文献

Long-lived upstream energetic ion events at Jupiter appear to be very similar in nearly all respects to upstream ion events at earth. A notable difference between the two planetary systems is the enhanced heavy ion compositional signature reported for the Jovian events. This compositional feature has suggested that ions escaping from the Jovian magnetosphere play an important role in forming upstream ion populations at Jupiter. In contrast, models of energetic upstream ions at earth emphasize in situ acceleration of reflected solar wind ions within the upstream region itself. Using Voyager 1 and 2 energetic (? 30 keV) ion measurements near the magnetopause, in the magnetosheath, and immediately upstream of the bow shock, we examine the compositional patterns together with typical energy spectra in each of these regions. We find characteristic spectral changes late in ion events observed upstream of the bow shock at the same time that heavy ion fluxes are enhanced and energetic electrons are present. A model involving upstream Fermi acceleration early in events and emphasizing energetic particle escape in the prenoon part of the Jovian magnetosphere late in events is presented to explain many of the features in the upstream region of Jupiter.  相似文献

Foreshock is a special region located upstream of the Earth’s bow shock characterized by the presence of various plasma waves and fluctuations caused by the interaction of the solar wind plasma with particles reflected from the bow shock or escaping from the magnetosphere. On the other hand, foreshock fluctuations may modify the bow shock structure and, being carried through the magnetosheath, influence the magnetopause. During the years 1995–2000, the INTERBALL-1 satellite made over 10,000 hours of plasma and energetic particles measurements in the solar wind upstream of the Earth’s bow shock. We have sorted intervals according to the level of solar wind ion flux fluctuations and/or according to the flux of back-streaming energetic protons. An analysis of connection between a level of ion flux fluctuations and fluxes of high-energy protons and their relation to the IMF orientation is presented.  相似文献

A statistical survey of energetic ions (> 20 keV) observed by the DOK2 experiment on Interball-1 during foreshock intervals from 1996 to 1998 is presented. Flux levels depend on the connection geometry, with higher values at quasi-parallel shocks, particularly at lower energies. The decrease of flux in diffusive events with distance from the bow shock is consistent with results from earlier surveys performed closer to the bow shock. The energy spectra are softer for quasi-parallel than quasi-perpendicular connections. The reflected ions have musch softer spectra. The cumulative frequencies for flux level occurrence patterns exhibit differences for quasi-parallel and quasi-perpendicular geometries up to approximately 200 keV.  相似文献

为了考察环电流区离子的分布情况,采用环电流粒子理论模式,对环电流中10-100 keV的离子进行了模拟研究.这个模式能够根据近地注入区外边界处离子的分布函数得出磁暴主相期间环电流中的主要成分H+,O+,He+3种离子的通量分布.计算结果分析表明,在其他条件相同的情况下,不同种类离子的通量分布的形态结构十分相似.电场强度对环电流离子通量的空间分布具有决定性的作用;晨昏电场强度越强,离子的通量越高;晨昏电场越强,环电流离子的内边界越接近地球.10keV的离子在电场相当弱的时候还是存在着连续的通量分布,但他们的形态和结构随着电场的变化有明显的变化.电场很弱时,离子分布主要集中于内外两个环带,离子通量在晨侧的更多一些,离子通量的最大值基本上是在比较靠近地球的环带上;随着电场的增强,离子分布的内外两个环带逐步合并,离子的分布逐渐靠近地球,通量分布的最大值也移动到了昏侧.环电流离子投掷角分布具有各向异性,投掷角在90°左右的时候,离子通量能达到最大值.   相似文献

Utilizing many years of observation from deep space and near-earth spacecraft a theoretical understanding has evolved on how ions and electrons are accelerated in interplanetary shock waves. This understanding is now being applied to solar flare-induced shock waves propagating through the solar atmosphere. Such solar flare phenomena as γ-ray line and neutron emissions, interplanetary energetic electron and ion events, and Type II and moving Type IV radio bursts appear understandable in terms of particle accleration in shock waves.  相似文献

The observation of the directional distribution of energetic and cosmic ray particles has been done with the Voyager spacecraft over a long period. Since 2002, when the first flux enhancements of charged particles associated with the approach of Voyager 1 to the solar wind termination shock were observed, these anisotropy measurements have become of special interest. They play an important role to understand the magnetic field and shock structure and the basics of the modulation of cosmic ray and anomalous particles at and beyond the termination shock. They also serve as motivation to study the spatial behavior of galactic and anomalous cosmic ray anisotropies with numerical modulation models in order to illustrate how the radial anisotropy, at different energies, change from upstream to downstream of the termination shock. Observations made by Voyager 1 indicate that the termination shock is a complicated region than previously thought, hence the effects of the latitude dependence of the termination shock’s compression ratio and injection efficiency on the radial anisotropies of galactic and anomalous protons will be illustrated. We find that the magnitude and direction of the radial anisotropy strongly depends on the position in the heliosphere and the energy of particles. The effect of the TS on the radial anisotropy is to abruptly increase its value in the heliosheath especially in the A > 0 cycle for galactic protons and in both polarity cycles for anomalous protons. Furthermore, the global effect of the latitude dependence of the shock’s compression ratio is to increase the radial anisotropy for galactic protons throughout the heliosphere, while when combined with the latitude dependence of the injection efficiency this increase depends on modulation factors for anomalous protons and can even alter the direction of the radial anisotropy.  相似文献

本文从完整的磁流体动力学方程组出发,通过太阳大气中磁力线管根部有限振幅磁场的扰动,研究了非线性磁场的动力学演化。假设初始磁场位形足β<<1的势场,根部磁力线管磁场扰动,驱动等离子体运动,一部分磁能转换为等离子体动能。等离子体压缩运动具有快磁声波的特性。计算结果给出非线性磁场演化的定量关系,可以解释太阳大气中日冕活动过程。也可用于模拟实验室里高β实验装置中的等离子体的持性。   相似文献
