与传统的Buck电路相比,基于H桥并联的DC/DC变换器可以实现电压的双极性输出和故障时的冗余控制,非常适合用于大功率电动机正反转控制的场合。分析了并联H桥型DC/DC变换器的结构组成和双脉宽调制(PWM)模式。为了降低双脉宽调制下H桥型DC/DC变换器的开通和关断损耗,对无源软开关技术进行了分析,重点探讨了RCD缓冲电路和最小应力缓冲电路之间的性能差异,指出最小应力软开关技术可以获得更好的软开关性能,并就将其用于双脉宽调制下的并联H桥DC/DC变换器进行了仿真研究。仿真结果表明:最小应力软开关技术用于双脉宽调制下并联H桥DC/DC变换器时,可以实现开关管的零电压开通和零电流关断。  相似文献

In this paper, a new soft-switching Zeta converter with an asymmetrical pulsewidth modulation (PWM) control is proposed. The proposed Zeta converter has the features of constant frequency operation, zero voltage switching (ZVS), and low voltage stress on the active switches. Moreover, it can achieve high power density, high efficiency, low switching loss, and low component count, which make converter operation at low to medium power level feasible. Operational principle of the Zeta converter is presented in detail, and a specific example is designed and implemented to verify its feasibility.  相似文献

A new design technique of the input filter damping network for dc-to-dc switching converters of buck type is presented. This technique is derived by means of zero dynamics analysis of the switching converter and yields equivalent results to those obtained using the classical approach based on minimizing the filter output impedance. The new method can be applied in converters of buck type with two inductors, boost with two inductors and dual SEPIC. Simulation and experimental results corresponding to a boost converter with two inductors illustrate the procedure.  相似文献

The characteristics of a push-pull parallel resonant converter (PPRC) when operated as a DC-DC transformer were investigated theoretically and experimentally. In the DC-DC transformer region, the voltage transfer ratio of the PPRC was found to be practically constant and independent of the input voltage and load. In this mode, all the switching elements operate in the zero voltage switching (ZVS) condition. Another important feature of the proposed DC-DC transformer is the ability to drive it by an arbitrary switching frequency, provided that the latter is lower than the self-oscillating frequency. This permits the synchronization of the converter to a master clock. The analytical expressions for voltage and current stresses, as well as the other key parameters derived, are applied to develop design guidelines for the DC-DC transformer. Earlier references have described a new soft switched ZVS/ZCS (zero voltage switching, zero current switching) converter for IGBTs that allows operation above 20 kHz. Although frequencies above 20 kHz are now possible for IGBT converters, the optimum frequency for minimum volume may be below 20 kHz because of heat sink requirements. When an LLC-type parallel resonant converter (LLC-PRC) operates above resonant frequency, the switching transistors can be turned off at zero voltage. Further study reveals that the LLC-PRC possesses the advantage of lower converter voltage gain as compared with the conventional PRC. Based on the analytic results derived, a complete set of design curves from which a systematic design procedure is developed is obtained. A new soft-switched ac-dc single-stage pulse width modulation (PWM) full-bridge converter is proposed. The converter operates with zero-voltage switching (ZVS), fixed switching frequency, and with a continuous input current that is sinusoidal and in phase with the input voltage. This is in contrast with other ac-dc single-stage PWM full-bridge converters that are either resonant converters operating with variable switching frequency control and high conduction losses, converters whose switches cannot operate with ZVS, or converters that cannot perform power factor correction (PFC) unless the input current is discontinuous. All converter switches operate with soft-switching due to a simple auxiliary circuit that is used for only a small fraction of the switching cycle. The operation of the converter is explained and analyzed, guidelines for the design of the converter are given, and its feasibility is shown with results obtained from an experimental prototype.  相似文献

Results of a theoretical and experimental investigation of a capacitive-loaded push-pull parallel-resonant DC-DC converter (CL-PPRC) are presented and discussed. The push-pull parallel-resonant converter (PPRC) is driven by a lower-than-resonance frequency and the secondary voltage is rectified and smoothed by a capacitive filter. The CL-PPRC is shown to operate in the zero voltage switching (ZVS) mode with a boost-like DC transfer ratio that is approximately linear with the period of the switching frequency. Experimental results of a 180 W, high output voltage (1.8 KV) prototype are found to be in good agreement with the analysis, models, and simulation results presented. The basic characteristic of ZVS, the fact that the resonant current is passing through the switches only during a fraction of the period, the high-voltage transfer ratio, and the inherent input/output (I/O) isolation, make the proposed topology a viable design alternative in avionic and aerospace applications  相似文献

A novel topology, current-fed multiresonant dc-dc converter (CF-MRC) was studied theoretically and experimentally. The new topology differs from previously described current-fed push-pull parallel-resonant topologies in the fact that the output is coupled to the current of the resonant inductor and in the addition of a second capacitor across the transformer. The main features of the proposed converter are an inherent protection against a short and open circuit at the output, a high voltage gain and zero voltage switching (ZVS) over a large range of output voltage. These characteristics make it a viable choice for applications, such as a high voltage capacitor charger, that require controllable current sourcing over a wide output voltage swing.  相似文献

An efficient and practical method for steady-state design of an LLC-type parallel resonant dc/dc converter (LLC-PRC) is presented. In general, the output characteristic curves of LLC-PRC can be obtained by multiplying the output curves of the LC-type parallel resonant converter (LC-PRC) by a ratio of the parallel and series inductances. The peak voltage and current stresses on the resonant elements also depend on the same ratio. The LLC-PRC with a filter inductor is examined for two conduction modes, continuous and discontinuous capacitor voltage conduction modes, to show the effect of the inductance ratio. A means to use the derived equations to obtain the zero current switching (ZCS) is given. Also, a design procedure, along with design examples, is given to illustrate the use of the equations and characteristic curves. A dynamic pulsewidth modulator (DPM) is synthesized to generate a PWM (pulsewidth modulated) signal from dynamic converter variables and from a (quasi-)static control signal. Based on a pragmatic principle with simple hardware implementation, the DPM can be functionally integrated with a PWM converter to broaden the converter power bandwidth, enhancing the converter's ability to meet stringent dynamic specifications. Even if bandwidth broadening is not the prime objective, the smaller phase shift associated with the broader bandwidth simplifies the design of the regulation loop. The DPM principle can also linearize the large-signal behavior of a nonlinear converter. The theory is demonstrated and verified for a buck converter, whose PWM bandwidth is extended from 1/50 of the switching frequency to about 1/3 of the switching frequency.  相似文献

A new current injected equivalent circuit approach (CIECA) to modeling switching dc-dc converter power stages is developed, which starts with the current injected approach and results in either a set of equations which completely describe input and out-put properties or an equivalent linear circuit model valid at small signal, low frequency levels. This approach to modeling switching dc-dc converter power stages has the merits but not the demerits of both the electronic equivalent circuit state space average approach and the current injected control type approach, namely, 1) the modeling is very clear and is simple whether the converter operates in continuous or discontinuous inductor conduction modes, 2) the modeling results in an equivalent circuit which is very close to the actual converter, and 3) the equivalent circuit can be used directly in the computer for theoretical predictions like SPICE, etc.  相似文献

A buck converter operating at constant switching frequency, whose active switches and recovery diode commutate at zero-voltage-switching (ZVS), with zero capacitive turn-on losses, is proposed. By using the parasitic capacitances of the switches as resonant capacitors, multiresonance is created. The resonant stage takes place only after the resonant inductor has been discharged, thus avoiding a resonant current peak; the devices are subjected to the same stresses as their counterparts in conventional hard-switching converters. 介绍了永磁同步电机(PMSM)直接转矩控制(DTC)理论,研究了零电压矢量的作用。基于开关次数最小提出了选择零电压矢量的策略,给出了一种新型含零电压矢量开关表。仿真结果表明使用新型开关表PMSM DTC系统能正常驱动。与传统开关表相比,使用新型开关表DTC系统开关次数降低了近56%,进而降低了开关损耗。  相似文献

A review of common switching techniques for dc/dc power conversion is presented. The evolution of the forward converter is discussed, leading naturally to the introduction of the double forward converter. Technical details for a series of radiation-hardened converters are then provided. This series was designed for space power management and distribution (PMAD) applications. A soft switching boost converter with zero-voltage transition (ZVT) main switch using zero-current switching (ZCS) auxiliary switch is proposed. Operating intervals of the converter are presented and analyzed. Design considerations are discussed. We develop analytic methodologies for stability analyses (using nonlinear and linear methodologies) of parallel dc-dc converters (under unsaturated and saturated operating conditions) using their switching model, discrete model (based on nonlinear map), and averaged model. We describe the approach for investigating the behavior of the stable and unstable equilibrium solutions of a parallel dc-dc converter under parametric variations and illustrate the methodology using a load-sharing dc-dc buck converter. For unsaturated operating condition, using bifurcation analysis and Floquet theory, we predict the stability boundary of the nominal solution, determine its postinstability dynamics, and investigate the dependence of the converter dynamics on its initial conditions. Subsequently, we demonstrate the differences in the predictions of the instabilities and instability boundaries using (conventional) linearized averaged (small-signal) and discrete and switching models.  相似文献
