Oxygen deficiency in the iron-based HTSC GdFeAsO1?δ seems to create a parallelogram shaped Fe2+-ion/oxygen deficiency pattern in the Fe2O2 plane in c-direction. These two-dimensional nanostructures form superconducting current channels which are separated by h=0.828 nm. The doping distance in direction of the super-current shows a strong correlation to the transition temperature.  相似文献

It is shown that the excesses in the sum of fluxes (e + + e ?) in cosmic rays in the energy range (10–1000) GeV and in the flux ratio e +/(e + + e ?) in the range > 10 GeV, observed both in recent and old experiments, can be explained by an accelerator of charged particles operating on the heliosphere periphery, in the region beyond the termination shock of the solar wind (~100 AU). Variations in the value and position of peculiarities in the spectra (e + + e ?), as well as increasing ratio of fluxes e +/(e + + e ?), can be associated with variations of solar activity (and, as a consequence, of acceleration regimes) on different phases of the 11-years solar cycle. The results of numerical simulation of capture and acceleration of charged particles by packets of plasma waves in the heliospheric magnetic field are presented.  相似文献

The results of a numerical simulation of such parameters of the topside ionosphere as concentration N e and temperature T e of electrons, and concentration n(H+) and fluxes along the magnetic field lines Φ(H+) of H+ ions at an altitude of ~2000 km for the conditions of the August 11, 1999 solar eclipse are presented. The calculations were performed using the Global Self-consistent Model of the Thermosphere, Ionosphere, and Protonosphere of the Earth (GSM TIP). It is shown that during the eclipse, in addition to a region of decreased values of T e in the Northern Hemisphere and in the magnetically conjugate region in the Southern Hemisphere, regions of electron heating emerge in both hemispheres. Simultaneously, an extended region of decreased values of N e comes into existence and moves behind the Moon’s shadow. Regions with decreased (down to ~30%) and enhanced (up to ~50%) concentrations of H+ ions are detected in the global distribution of these ions.  相似文献

There are four bi-impulsive distinct configurations for the generalized Hohmann orbit transfer. In this case the terminal orbits as well as the transfer orbit are elliptic and coplanar. The elements of the initial orbit a1, e1 and the semi-major axis a2 of the terminal orbit are uniquely given quantities. For optimization procedure, minimization is relevant to the independent parameter eT, the eccentricity of the transfer orbit. We are capable of the assignment of minimum rocket fuel expenditure by using ordinary calculus condition of minimization for |ΔVA|+|ΔVB|=S.We exposed in detail the multi-steps of the optimization procedure. We constructed the variation table of S(eT) which proved that S(eT) is a decreasing function of eT in the admissible interval [eTmin,eTmax]. Our analysis leads to the fact that e2=1 for eT=eTmax, i.e. the final orbit is a parabolic trajectory.  相似文献

In this paper, we analyzed the thermal and energy characteristics of the plasma components observed during the magnetic dipolarizations in the near tail by the Cluster satellites. It was previously found that the first dipolarization the ratio of proton and electron temperatures (T p/T e) was ~6–7. At the time of the observation of the first dipolarization front T p/T e decreases by up to ~3–4. The minimum value T p/T e (~2.0) is observed behind the front during the turbulent dipolarization phase. Decreases in T p/T e observed at this time are associated with an increase in T e, whereas the proton temperature either decreases or remains unchanged. Decreases of the value T p/T e during the magnetic dipolarizations coincide with increase in wave activity in the wide frequency band up to electron gyrofrequency f ce. High-frequency modes can resonantly interact with electrons causing their heating. The acceleration of ions with different masses up to energies of several hundred kiloelectron-volts is also observed during dipolarizations. In this case, the index of the energy spectrum decreases (a fraction of energetic ions increases) during the enhancement of low-frequency electromagnetic fluctuations at frequencies that correspond to the gyrofrequency of this ion component. Thus, we can conclude that the processes of the interaction between waves and particles play an important role in increasing the energy of plasma particles during magnetic dipolarizations.  相似文献

Equatorial radial distributions of plasma density in the 3 < L < 9 region of Saturn’s magnetosphere, obtained from measurements on the Cassini spacecraft, are considered on the basis of diffusion theory. The concentration of particles in the magnetic tubes is found to grow with L. The external source is located at L ? 9. The particles diffuse to Saturn. In the 5 < L < 9 interval the distribution is close to equilibrium. A relation between the diffusion coefficient and the densities of internal sources and losses is obtained in this interval. Prevalence of losses over sources is very probable. Estimates of the diffusion flux and its derivative are given. If the diffusion coefficient is expressed as D LL = D o L 3 and the contencentration of particles depends on L according to a power law, the diffusion rate is constant.  相似文献

The stability of resonance oscillations and rotations of a satellite in the plane of its orbit in the case when the difference of the moments of inertia with respect to the principal axes lying in the orbit plane is small is determined at a given rotation number m by the sign of function Φm(e), introduced by F.L. Chernous’ko in 1963. In this paper, convenient analytical representations of functions Φm(e) are described in the form of integrals and series of Bessel functions regular at e → 1?. Values of Φm(1) are calculated in explicit form. A theorem about the double asymptotic form of functions Φm(e) at m → ∞ and e → 1? is proved by the saddlepoint method.  相似文献

The problem of rarefied plasma flow near the body in highly rarefied ionized planet atmosphere is considered. Plasma is supposed to be non-isothermal, Ti ? Te. In the case of thermodynamically non-equilibrium electrons the solution of modified Korteweg-de Vries equation is estimated in the Mach cone region behind the body and it is shown that Mach cone appears to be curved.  相似文献

A new procedure for restoration of the plasma inhomogeneities with improved resolution is suggested. The procedure deals with the double weighted Fourier transform (DWFT) of the observed wavefield in coordinates of both receivers = (x, y) and sources 0 = (x 0, y 0) [1]. Phase increments between the sources and receivers, being found from DWFT representation, can be used for extracting information on small perturbations of the dielectric constant ~(, z) in a way similar to traditional radio tomography. The resulting resolution of the method is close to the diffraction limit = h/D in the horizontal direction and z = (h/D)2 in the vertical direction, where h is the height of inhomogeneities and D is the length of the ground-based receiving system.  相似文献

The influences of miscellaneous combustor structures for solid fuel scramjet combustion on the performance are investigated, including a detailed interaction analysis between shocks/waves and combustion. Hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene is chosen as the solid fuel with the non-premixed equilibrium probability density function combustion model. The results show combustion enhancement when structure of combustor is modified. The radical emphasis is to examine the sensitivity of the properties due to variations on the length-to-depth ratio of cavity, aft wall angle, and offset ratio. It is noted that there is an appropriate structure of cavity (L/D=4, θ=45°, and Dd/Du=1.25–1.5) regarding the combustion efficiency, total pressure loss and specific impulse. The observation of function for combustor components provides instructional insight into the design considerations for a combustor of a solid-fuel scramjet.  相似文献

In the present work, we have derived an expression ML ? 4.738 M (M = 1.985 × 1033 g = mass of the Sun) giving the “limiting” value of the mass of a dense stellar matter, by introducing the concept of nuclear size correction in the theory of relativistic Thomas Fermi model for a compressed atom. We find that ML ? 5.1571 MChand =3.2750(MO)Prev [MCh and (MO)Prev denote respectively the Chandrasekhar and author's “limiting” masses]. By making a comparative study with those of previous results it has been shown that our present treatment would provide satisfactory results for the density ranges from ? ? 108 up to ? ? 1011g/cm3. Other results of cognate interest in the non-relativistic regime 103 < ? ? 105 (without the nuclear size effect) are presented. The astrophysical implications of the results are mentioned.  相似文献

A simple diffusion model of Saturn's radiation belts with a constant internal source and particle losses at the boundaries is considered. The radial diffusion coefficient is supposed to be D LL L 4. The analytical solution to the stationary diffusion equation describes well the observed radial profiles of the distribution function of energetic protons in Saturn's magnetosphere.  相似文献

The variations in the deviation of the observed position of the magnetosphere boundary from its mean position predicted by the Shue at al., 1997 (Sh97) model [7] are studied as a function of the substorm activity level (the AE-index value) and magnetic storm intensity (the value of the corrected D st * index). The results obtained make it possible to state that the amplitude of motion of the magnetospheric boundary on the dayside and in the low-latitude tail is small. It is likely that the position of the boundary is either independent of the AE and D st * indices or this dependence is weak. At the same time, the boundary of the high-latitude tail shifts inward on the average by 1.5R E with an increase of the AE-index in the case of absence of magnetic storms (contraction of the magnetospheric tail). On the contrary, in the presence of magnetic storms, this boundary shifts outward by up to 3R E with an increase of the AE-index (inflation of the magnetospheric tail). It is also shown that the boundary of the high-latitude tail moves outward with an increase of the D st * index, both at low substorm activity and in periods of high substorm activity. The amplitude of the outward motion of the high-latitude tail of the magnetosphere is by a factor of two higher for moderate magnetic storms with strong substorms than for moderate magnetic storms with weak substorms.  相似文献

Perturbation theory is applied to the Vinti problem—motion about an oblate spheroid—to include the gravitational effects of the sun and moon. The problem is formulated using the extended phase space method which introduces a new independent variable similar to the true anomaly. The disturbing Hamiltonian H1 for third bodies is of order J22 (second order) and the final goal is a theory including second order short and long period terms and third order secular terms. The current paper however carries the development only to the second order in the secular terms and the first order in the periodic terms. Problems of including the higher orders are discussed. Therefore, in the development of H1 all terms of order 10?9 or larger are retained. The lunar emphemeris retains terms to e2 in the lunar eccentricity. The perturbation analysis is carried out by means of Lie series and is developed through the first order only which is consistent with the final accuracy desired. The generating function W1 is obtained and separated into the long period, short period and secular terms. From W1 the coordinates are defined from the Lie series by means of a transformation equation. These coordinates are non-singular for small eccentricity and inclination. Because of the complexity of the equations all algebraic computations were accomplished by means of a computerized Poisson series manipulator developed at the Naval Research Laboratory.  相似文献

ONERA developed, for studying the response of a propellant to a pressure or velocity fluctuation, an experimental rocket engine whose nozzle throat area can be modulated by a toothed disk.The paper presents a linearized theory of the functioning of this engine in the low frequency domain, i.e. when there is no wave propagation within the combuster.To describe the functioning of this motor, the Ryazantsev-Novozhilov method, which assumes that the gas response is instantaneous, is used. This analysis takes into account the erosion and radiation effects, the combustion efficiency and the thermal losses through the walls.Two particular cases are described, for two values of the Damköhler parameter D1 = tctth, where tc is the residence time in the combuster and tth the characteristic thermal time of the heat penetration into the solid propellant. These two cases correspond, one to a classical propellant D1 > 1, the other to a particular propellant of low burning rate (Jb ? 0.2 to 0.4 mm s?1) D1 < 1. The stability conditions are analysed as well as the pressure amplitute and phase as a function of the nozzle throat modulation frequency.Still in linearized theory, the complete solutions of the problem are presented, using a method of numerical resolution.  相似文献

Radio bursts in the frequency range of 100–1500 kHz, recorded in 1997–2000 on the INTERBALL-1 satellite during the solar flares preceding the strong geomagnetic storms with D st < ?100 nT, are analyzed in this paper. The observed long-wave III-type radio bursts of solar origin at frequencies of 1460 and 780 kHz were characterized by large values of the flux S f = 10?15 ?10?17 W/m2 Hz and duration longer than 10 min. The rapid frequency drift of a modulated radio burst continued up to a frequency of 250 kHz, which testified that the exciting agent (a beam of energetic electrons) propagated from the Sun to the Earth. All such flares were characterized by the appearance of halo coronal mass ejections, observed by the LASCO/SOHO, and by the presence of a southward Bz-component of the IMF, measured on the ACE and WIND spacecraft. In addition, shortly after radio bursts, the INTERBALL-1 satellite has recorded the fluxes of energetic electrons with E > 40 keV.  相似文献

This paper deals with energetically optimal multi-impulse transfers of a spacecraft in the central Newtonian gravitational field near a planet. The transfer from a point on initial orbit to the final orbit with the given angular momentum and energy constants is considered. The transfer time is bounded above.With the distance from spacecraft to planet limited and the time free, such parameters of given orbits are chosen that the 3-impulse apsidal transfer Tr is optimal with an intermediate impulse at the maximum distance. On the basis of necessary optimality conditions an algorithm is developed to numerically determine the desired optimal transfer trajectory Tt under time constraint, the apsidal trajectory Tr being taken as initial approach. From the geometry and energy viewpoints, both trajectories Tt and Tr are close to each other. The trajectory Tt is also 3-impulsive, all impulses on it are nonapsidal. The distance from the planet is larger and the sum of impulses is less for this trajectory than for the initial trajectory Tr with the same transfer time.The simplified solution of the problem is constructed producing good approximation to the exact numerical optimization results. The solution asymptotics is found when the transfer time tends to infinity.  相似文献

Deuterium ions D+and doubly-charged helium ions He++have the same mass-to- charge ratio (M/Z= 2) and are not distinguished by the mass-spectrometer. On the basis of analysis of published data, Interkosmos-24satellite data, and theoretical estimations, it is shown that in the ionosphere and plasmasphere the ion with a mass number of two is He++and not D+, at least at altitudes of higher than 600–800 km. Arguments in favor of the validity of this assumption at lower altitudes are presented. Regularities of the dependence of the N(He++)/N(He+) ratio on altitude, time of day, season, and solar activity are derived. It is found that in the daytime the N(He++)/N(He+) ratio decreases with increasing solar activity. The seasonal dependence is most pronounced at nighttime in the altitude interval 1000–2000 km, where this ratio decreases in passing from winter to summer. Peculiarities of the latitude distribution of the absolute and relative values of the He++concentration are found in the Interkosmos-24satellite data. On the basis of the same data, a strong longitude effect in the N(He++) concentration occurring under certain heliogeophysical conditions is discovered, an effect amplitude attaining one order of magnitude on adjacent orbits. An interpretation of this effect is given.  相似文献

Based on the archive OMNI data for the period 1976–2000 an analysis has been made of 798 geomagnetic storms with D st < −50 nT and their interplanetary sources-large-scale types of the solar wind: CIR (145 magnetic storms), Sheath (96), magnetic clouds MC (62), and Ejecta (161). The remaining 334 magnetic storms have no well-defined sources. For the analysis, we applied the double method of superposed epoch analysis in which the instants of the magnetic storm beginning and minimum of D st index are taken as reference times. The well-known fact that, independent of the interplanetary source type, the magnetic storm begins in 1–2 h after a southward turn of the IMF (B z < 0) and both the end of the main phase of a storm and the beginning of its recovery phase are observed in 1–2 h after disappearance of the southward component of the IMF is confirmed. Also confirmed is the result obtained previously that the most efficient generation of magnetic storms is observed for Sheath before MC. On the average parameters B z and E y slightly vary between the beginning and end of the main phase of storms (minimum of D st and D st * indices), while D st and D st * indices decrease monotonically proportionally to integral of B z and E y over time. Such a behavior of the indices indicates that the used double method of superposed epoch analysis can be successfully applied in order to study dynamics of the parameters on the main phase of magnetic storms having different duration.  相似文献
