The early 1990's communications for air traffic control (ATC) uses analog single channel radios with conventional amplitude modulation (AM) in the very high frequency (VHF) band. To overcome eventual saturation of the current system, a sample “next generation” ATC communications system has been designed to increase capabilities and provide a graceful transition from the current system. The new ATC communication system must address problems with the modulation format and a balance between increased channel capacity and overall cost. The controller/pilot workloads can be reduced in that the information segments allow for either semi-automatic or fully automatic handoff or frequency change. The principal performance factor is the addition of data, fully integrated with voice, while offering an increase in throughput. The architecture is structured to put priority on the uplink voice messages while offering significant information capacity capabilities for external data sources. When digital data and voice communication systems mature in the ATC environment, a natural evolution to more data traffic and less voice will occur. At that time, a simple restructuring of the channel assignments and priorities could offer increased throughput for connection to ground based data sources such as high capacity routers  相似文献

The identification of backup radio sites, to increase the availability of the future air/ground (A/G) air traffic control (ATC) systems, is investigated, When there is an A/G communications failure, due to a radio site or an ATC controller access failure, another site (or sites) provides the service. The backup site should be capable of providing full coverage of the desired airspace known as the service volume. Meeting the full coverage conditions by one site or a group of sites is analyzed. It is concluded that identification of one site providing full coverage can be determined easily. The identification of a group of sites, each with partial coverage and providing full coverage is analyzed in detail. An algorithm involving both analytical and numerical approaches is described. It determines if two radio sites with given geographical coordinates, and each with partial coverage of a given cylindrical service volume, can provide full coverage. The problem of capacity shortage in some airports needs to be dealt with sustainable solutions including a more efficient use of the existing runway slots at the airports. The Collaborative Decision Making (CDM) is an important approach applied to Air Traffic Management (ATM) to achieve this efficient use of the slots allocation. Using the Matching approach for two-sided markets of Game theory, the Top Trading Cycle CDM (TTC-CDM) algorithm developed in this research is an extension of the CDM approach aggregating the Ground Delay Program (GDP) of the air sector. The paper compared the developed TTC-CDM model to the existing models such as the conventional Compression algorithm in CDM, the Trade Cycle algorithm and the Deferred Acceptance CDM (DA-CDM) model to evaluate the performance of the proposed model. Through a case study, the results show the effective application of TTC-CDM model to slot allocation in ATM and also presents the advantage of considering the preferences of airport managers beside ATC controllers and airlines in the decision processing.  相似文献

The interference from the digital single channel per carrier (SCPC) circuits into frequency-modulated carrier systems has been calculated by convolving the desired and the interfering spectra extending the previously published works. Resulting interference noise power in FDM/FM systems covering a wide range of modulation indices and basebands has been presnted. Also plots of interference noise power as a function of the number of SCPC circuits have been presented for various values of carrier power to interference power ratios.  相似文献

正交频分复用(OFDM)调制技术由于具有良好的抗多径干扰能力和高效的频谱利用率,在许多数字传输系统中被广泛应用,成为当今卫星通信研究的热点。本文提出了基于局部三角变换(LTT)的OFDM系统模型,该系统带外频率谱密度下降快,并能保持相邻的OFDM符号的正交性。给出了用离散余弦变换(DCT)实现的快速算法及复杂度,并考查了最优基的选取。仿真和分析结果表明:该系统误码率比基于快速傅里叶变换(FFT)的系统更小,能更好地适应高速传输带来的大多普勒频移,更有效地利用带宽,为接收端对高速数据的解调提供很好的保证。  相似文献

System aspects of mobile communication and position determination by satellite are described. Topics of discussion are the choice of frequency, type of modulation/multiple access and system design, and considering the effects of active and passive intermodulation and multipath interference. Communication performance and position determination analyses are conducted with respect to small-scale domestic mobile communication systems, where the satellite mobile transponder constitutes only a fraction of the otherwise fixed services C-band or Ku-band payload, and where the orbit position of the spare satellite(s) is dictated by considerations other than purely radio positioning. Correctional Service Canada (CSC) has recently replaced the aging, out-of-date radio communications systems in all major CSC facilities with new conventional digital radio systems. Based on very specific and restrictive operational requirements coupled with developments in digital radio technology and the Associated Public Communications Officers (APCO) Project 25 digital radio standards, it was determined that digital radio communications would best meet CSC's needs. The CSC national radio replacement program was completed in March 2000. Switching to a digital radio communications system gave CSC an opportunity to consider changing the existing radio system from a number of conventional, single-site systems to a trunking system. Areas to be considered when determining the architecture for a radio communication network, whether radio trunking systems or conventional radio systems should be used, are presented, In addition, the paper will also outline the requirements and measures taken to keep the radio communication network active and operational while the equipment was converted from an analog technology to a digital one  相似文献

Recent developments in airborne Doppler and ground mapping navigation radars and ground and satellite based radio systems are described. Simultaneous lobing and slope tracking techniques can remove the well-known Doppler sea bias error in fast and slowly moving vehicles. Doppler velocity information can be extracted from coherent forward-looking mapping radars, and high position fixing accuracy can be achieved by synthetic aperture radars. In radio navigation systems, such as Loran, Omega, and satellite systems, direct-ranging and differential techniques greatly reduce the geometric dilution and propagation effects which have plagued conventional radio navigation systems. The advantages gained by mixing of the data from these and other navigation sensors in a digital multisensor system are discussed and approaches for processing these data are suggested.  相似文献

为了减轻机载电子系统线缆和连接器的重量,减小其体积并降低维护成本,在航空电子组件的电路板或芯片之间,可以采用太赫兹通信技术实现厘米量级的微距互连。采用开关键控(OOK)调制和非相干解调实现点到点太赫兹互连,给出了数据速率、数据包长度等参数的设计方法,进而构建包含用户节点和簇头节点的半双工多路访问分簇网络架构。在簇内用户节点到簇头节点的介质访问控制协议中采用赤字轮询(DRR)机制,并采用随机网络演算(SNC)方法得到概率保证意义下多路访问的有效服务容量,分析了阻塞干扰对DRR服务曲线的影响。分析和算例表明,DRR访问在保证实时性能界限的条件下兼顾了多路访问的灵活性,满足航空电子微小型化组件之间太赫兹通信和分簇组网的需求。  相似文献

Intersatellite laser crosslinks (ISL) provide a method of communication that has significantly increased the data throughput that can be managed over typical RF communication systems, and has significant growth potential. Optical communications offer very wide bandwidths which can be effectively utilized with wavelength division multiplexing techniques. The data rate growth potential is well beyond the few gigabit per second range of RF technology. The use of lasers in transmitting optical data takes advantage of its small wavelength and low beam divergence to send highly directed signals over significant distances with controlled losses in intensity. The high directivity of the laser aids in resistance to jamming communications between satellites, or between satellites and ground stations. Various intersatellite laser optical crosslink system are discussed including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Laser Intersatellite Transmission Experiment (LITE), the McDonnell Douglas Electronic Systems Company Laser Crosslink System, and The Ball Aerospace Optical Intersatellite Link,in order to display the various subsystem and their implementations. Link budget calculations are performed on the most commonly used modulation formats to determine system parameters necessary to close the crosslink. Background is provided on primal system architectures and methods of laser communication, as well as presently implemented systems. 受卫星导航的冲击,甚高频全向信标(VOR)在未来航行系统中将失去它的重要地位,最终可能关闭。为充分利用VOR的频段和设备资源,本文提出了四种VOR发射机改造方案:第一是间断发射的慢速时空调制系统;第二是连续发射的二进制四相时空调制系统;第三是码分有参考信号时空调制系统;第四是时分有参考信号时空调制系统。给出了四种系统信号调制、编码、接收机设计等解决方案。改造系统的主要优点是将数字通信和无线定向综合为一体。  相似文献

978MHz的广播式自动相关监视系统(ADS-B)技术在通用航空空管领域有广泛应用。中国民航飞行学院在我国首次应用ADS-B系统。从2005年至今,中国民航学院的所有5个机场建立了地面基站,150架飞机加装了机载ADS-B系统,系统运转良好,极大地提高了训练飞行的安全性和空域的利用率。为保证系统数据的精度和完整性,本文介绍了一种方法,即实现多种导航覆盖的ADS-B、广域多点相关系统(WAMLAT)和雷达监视的组合方法,以提高空中交通监视的可靠性,满足空中交通监视所需的导航精度、导航完整性和监视完整性要求。这种综合构型监视方法,将有助于推动多监视源的应用。  相似文献

危险天气是影响航空运输飞行安全和导致航班延误的重要原因。随时间变化的危险天气决定了空域的动态容量。准确、及时的动态容量预测可以提高飞行安全性,也可以提高管制员的工作效率。在分析随时间变化的危险天气的基础上.提出用实时飞行受限区划设来表征危险天气:并给出了终端区空域网络图;应用最大流最小割理论找到受天气影响的终端区空域容量的瓶颈,建立了终端区动态容量评估模型;通过对某终端区危险天气进行算例分析.验证了模型的有效性和可行性。  相似文献

Operations within civil airspace will transition from traditional ground-based air traffic control (ATC) to air traffic management (ATM), a concept that requires aircrews and ground managers to share responsibility of aircraft separation assurance. Increased levels of information exchange will be necessary for this concept to work safely; therefore, air-ground communications will transition from voice to data link communications. The nature of data link communications procurement requires that avionics suppliers not only verify their products meet contractual performance requirements, but also demonstrate that their products are compatible with civil communication networks and ATC. In addition, the USAF needs to demonstrate that their crew-training program is adequate to maintain the required level of aircrew proficiency and equipment can be maintained for the required level of system performance, integrity, and interoperability with the civil environment. This paper outlines some of the certification issues facing the USAF with respect to the "Approval for Use" of data link equipment to be used for communication with ATC. It will also suggest a methodology for the avionics supplier and USAF to obtain the approvals required to ensure the installation of data link communications equipment on military aircraft will remain interoperable with civil ATC.  相似文献

以自适应帧长传输的高级在轨系统(AOS)为对象,从提高系统吞吐量出发,对包信道复用、虚拟信道(VC)复用及帧同步技术进行研究并提出相关的算法。包信道和VC复用算法可有效解决传统固定长度帧的生成与传输问题,降低复用时延,提高复用效率;帧同步算法则解决已有算法受帧长度标识误码影响较严重的问题,提升帧同步性能和数据处理可靠性。在分析、推导并仿真各算法性能公式和参数的基础上,对系统吞吐量性能进行仿真比较。结果表明,新算法能够很好地适应AOS自适应帧长系统,保证系统高吞吐量性能。  相似文献

基于有限单元法建立了考虑库伦摩擦的波箔型径向气体箔片轴承的箔片结构模型,采用有限差分法和有限单元法耦合求解Reynolds方程和气膜厚度方程,通过求解轴颈达到极限偏心率时的轴承极限承载力,研究了箔片结构库伦摩擦效应对轴承极限承载力的影响规律,并搭建了轴承极限承载力测试试验台,利用温度法测量了两个具有不同轴承壳内表面粗糙度的波箔型径向气体箔片轴承的轴承极限承载力.通过对比分析仿真结果与试验结果表明:轴承壳圆柱孔内表面粗糙度为0.4μm的轴承在10000r/min和20000r/min下,轴承极限承载力分别为15.5N和42.3N;而表面粗糙度为1.6μm的轴承极限承载力为10.9N和29.6N,这是由于波纹箔片和轴承壳体之间的库伦摩擦力增大了波纹箔片的刚度,因此增大箔片结构摩擦因数使得轴承极限承载力降低,并且仿真结果变化趋势和试验结果变化趋势吻合.   相似文献
