Smart antennas are becoming one of the promising technologies to meet the rapidly increasing demands for more capacity of satellite communication systems. A main component in a smart antenna system is beamforming. Because of the limitations of analog beamforming, digital beamforming will be employed in future satellite communication systems. We evaluate the performance of various digital beamforming strategies proposed in the literature for satellite communications: 1) single fixed beam/single user, 2) single fixed beam/multiple users, 3) single adaptive beam/single user, and 4) single Chebyshev dynamic beam/multiple users. Multiple criteria including coverage, system capacity, signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR), and computation complexity are used to evaluate these satellite communication beamforming strategies. In particular, a Ka-band satellite communication system is used to address the various issues of these beamforming strategies. For the adaptive beamforming approach, subarray structure is used to obtain the weights of a large 2D antenna array, and a globally convergent recurrent neural network (RNN) is proposed to realize the adaptive beamforming algorithm in parallel. The new subarray-based neural beamforming algorithm can reduce the computation complexity greatly, and is more effective than the conventional least mean square (LMS) beamforming approach. It is shown that the single adaptive beam/single user approach has the highest system capacity.  相似文献

A new concept of spaceborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) implementation has recently been proposed - the constellation of small spaceborne SAR systems. In this implementation, several formation-flying small satellites cooperate to perform multiple space missions. We investigate the possibility to produce high-resolution wide-area SAR images and fine ground moving-target indicator (GMTI) performance with constellation of small spaceborne SAR systems. In particular, we focus on the problems introduced by this particular SAR system, such as Doppler ambiguities, high sparseness of the satellite array, and array element errors. A space-time adaptive processing (STAP) approach combined with conventional SAR imaging algorithms is proposed which can solve these problems to some extent. The main idea of the approach is to use a STAP-based method to properly overcome the aliasing effect caused by the lower pulse-repetition frequency (PRF) and thereby retrieve the unambiguous azimuth wide (full) spectrum signals from the received echoes. Following this operation, conventional SAR data processing tools can be applied to focus the SAR images fully. The proposed approach can simultaneously achieve both high-resolution SAR mapping of wide ground scenes and GMTI with high efficiency. To obtain array element errors, an array auto-calibration technique is proposed to estimate them based on the angular and Doppler ambiguity analysis of the clutter echo. The optimizing of satellite formations is also analyzed, and a platform velocity/PRF criterion for array configurations is presented. An approach is given to make it possible that almost any given sparse array configuration can satisfy the criterion by slightly adjusting the PRF. Simulated results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approaches.  相似文献

In this paper, the accuracy, integrity and continuity of function requirements for automatic landing systems using satellite navigation systems are discussed. Such a landing system is the integrated navigation and landing system (INLS) developed by Deutsche Aerospace (DASA/Ulm, Germany). The system concepts of the INLS are presented. It is shown how an INLS, based on system integration of a satellite navigation system (e.g., GPS) in realtime differential mode with an inertial measurement unit (IMU) in the accuracy class of an attitude and heading reference system (AHRS), can meet the requirements: the results given are mainly devoted to the accuracy issues. Using Kalman filter techniques, an in-flight calibration of the IMU is performed. The advantage of system integration, especially in dynamic flight conditions and during phases of flight with satellite masking, is explained. The accuracy, integrity and continuity of function of the INLS were proven by means of flight tests in a commuter aircraft using a laser tracker as a reference. These flight tests have shown that the short-term accuracy (<60 seconds) of the AHRS used within the INLS has been improved from low cost sensor quality to the accuracy of a high quality laser inertial navigation system (LNIS). With the presented INLS, a landing at any airfield, not equipped with conventional Instrument Landing System (ILS) or Microwave Landing System (MLS), is possible by using a very cost effective system. The INLS is a high accuracy navigation and landing system designed to be used instead of conventional landing systems at small airfields and to fill operational gaps of conventional navigation and landing systems in cruise and approach on large airports  相似文献

设计了基于模糊控制的永磁同步电机(PMSM)直接转矩控制(DTC)系统,采用模糊控制器取代了传统DTC系统中的磁链和转矩滞环比较器及开关表。仿真结果表明:模糊控制PMSM DTC系统运行良好,可实现四象限运行,与传统开关表相比,可有效减小转矩脉动和平均开关频率。研究了转矩误差论域和零电压矢量对模糊控制性能的影响,并基于转矩角对电压矢量作用的影响规律,提出了考虑转矩角的PMSM模糊直接转矩控制。仿真结果表明:在转矩角较大时,考虑转矩角的PMSM模糊DTC系统可有效减小转矩和磁链脉动,改善控制性能。  相似文献

针对航空机电系统测试性设计(DFT)需求,提出基于面向对象的贝叶斯网络(OOBN)与状态-测试关联灵敏度指标的系统测试性建模与分析的新方法。该建模方法能清晰地刻画系统故障与测试间的关联程度,反映复杂系统的层次结构关系。基于信息论的交叉熵原理提出状态-测试关联灵敏度指标,并给出计算方法。该指标反映复杂机电系统测试中的不确定性影响,克服了基于香农熵的测点评判分析方法的缺点,结合测试性建模获得的模型信息进行推理计算,可用于测试性的定量分析。运用该综合分析方法对飞机燃油系统进行测试性建模与分析,结果表明所提出的方法与指标在航空机电系统DFT中具有实用性。  相似文献

The air-cycle refrigeration system is widely used in commercial and military aircraft, and its efficiency greatly affects aircraft performance. Nowadays, this system requires a more efficient design and optimization method. In this paper, a short-cut optimization method with high efficiency and effectiveness is introduced for both conventional and electric air-cycle refrigeration systems. Based on the system characteristics, a four-layer parameter matching algorithm is designed which avoids computational difficulty caused by simultaneous equations. Fuel penalty is chosen as the objective function of optimization; design variables are reduced based on sensitivity analysis to improve optimization efficiency. The results show that the 3-variable optimization of the conventional air-cycle refrigeration system can obtain almost the same results as the traditional 6-variable optimization in that these two optimizations can both significantly reduce the fuel penalty. However, the computer running time of the 3-variable optimization is much shorter than that of the 6-variable optimization. The optimal fuel penalty of the electric air-cycle refrigeration system is lower than that of the conventional one. This study can provide reference for optimizing the air-cycle refrigeration system of aircraft.  相似文献

针对存在模型参数不确定和外部干扰的高超声速飞行器(HFV)跟踪控制问题,提出一种基于Backstepping方法的抗饱和非线性控制器。将飞行器纵向动力学模型分为速度子系统和航迹倾角子系统,然后针对每个子系统单独设计控制器。设计跟踪微分器获得信号的一阶导数,用以估计系统中的不确定干扰项和避免"微分项膨胀"问题。控制器设计过程考虑了控制量发生饱和的情况。基于Lyapunov理论证明了闭环系统信号的稳定性。与传统高超声速飞行器Backstepping方法相比,所设计的控制器采用待跟踪状态与理想控制指令之间的实际误差作为反馈量,放宽了对系统干扰项的限制,提高了控制器对控制增益变化的适应性,进而提高了闭环系统的跟踪控制性能。对比仿真结果验证了所设计方法的有效性。  相似文献

以自适应帧长传输的高级在轨系统(AOS)为对象,从提高系统吞吐量出发,对包信道复用、虚拟信道(VC)复用及帧同步技术进行研究并提出相关的算法。包信道和VC复用算法可有效解决传统固定长度帧的生成与传输问题,降低复用时延,提高复用效率;帧同步算法则解决已有算法受帧长度标识误码影响较严重的问题,提升帧同步性能和数据处理可靠性。在分析、推导并仿真各算法性能公式和参数的基础上,对系统吞吐量性能进行仿真比较。结果表明,新算法能够很好地适应AOS自适应帧长系统,保证系统高吞吐量性能。  相似文献

The use of convolutional codes with feedback decoding is a common error-correction technique in simple communication systems. A drawback of conventional feedback decoding is the limitation to a class of self-orthogonal codes which, in general, are nonoptimum. Based on distance properties of the utilized code and test-error pattern analysis, we propose generalized feedback decoding which does not have the abovementioned limitation. This is minimum distance decoding and can be applied to any convolutional code while still maintaining its simplicity. Therefore, it has the advantage of being easily adopted in existing systems. We can use the relatively complicated Viterbi or sequential decoders in larger terminals and, with the same code, use the proposed decoders in smaller terminals; otherwise, both large and small terminals must utilize the same type of decoder. The proposed decoding scheme could also be used to simplify and speed up sequential decoding. In addition, comparisons of the proposed decoder with other feedback decoders are presented.  相似文献

An overall methodology is described for the application of a multiple hypothesis tracking (MHT) algorithm to the infrared (IR) surveillance system problem of establishing tracks on dim targets in a heavy clutter or false alarm background. The authors discuss the manner in which the detection and tracking systems are jointly designed to optimize performance. They present approximate methods that can conveniently be used for preliminary system design and performance prediction. The well-known conventional Kalman filter requires an accurate system model and exact stochastic information. But in a number of situations, the system model has an unknown bias, which may degrade the performance of the Kalman filter or may cause the filter to diverge. The effect of the unknown bias may be more pronounced on the extended Kalman filter (EKF), which is a nonlinear filter. The two-stage extended Kalman filter (TEKF) with respect to this problem has been receiving considerable attention for a long time. Recently, the optimal two-stage Kalman filter (TKF) for linear stochastic systems with a constant bias or a random bias has been proposed by several researchers. A TEKF can also be similarly derived as the optimal TKF. In the case of a random bias, the TEKF assumes that the information of a random bi?s is known. But the information of a random bias is unknown or partially known in general. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an adaptive two-stage extended Kalman filter (ATEKF) using an adaptive fading EKF. To verify the performance of the proposed ATEKF, the ATEKF is applied to the INS-GPS (inertial navigation system-Global Positioning System) loosely coupled system with an unknown fault bias. The proposed ATEKF tracked/estimated the unknown bias effectively although the information about the random bias was unknown.  相似文献

针对传统容积卡尔曼滤波(CKF)在系统状态发生突变时估计精度下降的问题,将强跟踪滤波(STF)算法与高阶容积卡尔曼滤波(HCKF)算法相结合,提出了一种自适应高阶容积卡尔曼滤波(AHCKF)方法。该算法采用高阶球面-相径容积规则,可获得高于传统CKF的估计精度,同时在HCKF算法中引入STF,通过渐消因子在线修正预测误差协方差阵,强迫残差序列正交,提高了算法的鲁棒性,增强了算法应对系统状态突变等不确定因素的能力。将提出的AHCKF算法应用于具有状态突变的机动目标跟踪问题并进行数值仿真,仿真结果表明,AHCKF算法在系统状态发生突变的情况下表现出良好的滤波性能,有效地避免了状态突变造成的滤波精度下降,较传统的CKF、HCKF、交互式多模型-容积滤波(IMM-CKF)和自适应容积卡尔曼滤波(ACKF)算法有更强的鲁棒性和系统自适应能力。  相似文献

We report the design of optical fiber asynchronous code-division multiple-access (CDMA) systems using fully optical orthogonal codes (FOOCs), which can be employed to support future airborne real-time communication services. The use of incoherent optical CDMA (IO-CDMA) can result in lower complexity and more reliable implementation than that of the coherent version, so this makes IO-CDMA more adequate for operation in the severe aircraft environment. When FOOCs are used in the IO-CDMA systems, the peaks of all the cross-correlation functions and all the sidelobes of any auto-correlation function are then limited to “1” (i.e., the minimum correlation constraint for incoherent optical processing) in fully asynchronous transmissions. Moreover, proposed systems can effectively support multi-rate and variable-rate data communications with no violation of the minimum correlation constraint and no change of IO-CDMA encoders/decoders. This characteristic can be used to improve the system flexibility and availability. A basic experiment is also demonstrated to verify the characteristics of FOOCs  相似文献

 针对一类模型未知的具有不确定性和外部干扰的多输入多输出(MIMO)非线性最小相位系统提出了鲁棒自适应输出反馈跟踪控制方案。用高斯径向基函数(RBF)神经网络逼近对象未知非线性,用高增益观测器估计系统不可测量状态。所设计的鲁棒自适应控制器不仅能使闭环系统稳定,所有状态有界,而且跟踪误差一致最终有界,并保证最终边界足够小。仿真结果表明了所提出方法的有效性。  相似文献

 随着电动加载系统的不断发展,对控制精度、动态特性和稳定性提出了更高的要求,常规的小脑模型(CMAC)和PD控制相结合的复合控制策略难以满足加载指标要求。针对无人机舵机电动加载系统的控制需求,提出了一种基于平衡学习、最优权值和自适应学习率的新型小脑模型(BOWA-CMAC)复合控制策略,它在保留小脑模型算法正常学习过程的同时,避免了算法的过学习现象,保证了系统的稳定,同时提高了跟踪精度和动态特性。仿真和实验结果表明,BOWA-CMAC复合控制策略具有很强的鲁棒性,抑制了加载系统的多余力矩,保证了系统的稳定性,有效提高了系统的跟踪精度和动态特性,非常适合于实时控制。  相似文献

Correctional Service Canada (CSC) has recently replaced the aging, out-of-date radio communications systems in all major CSC facilities with new conventional digital radio systems. Based on very specific and restrictive operational requirements coupled with developments in digital radio technology and the Associated Public Communications Officers (APCO) Project 25 digital radio standards, it was determined that digital radio communications would best meet CSC's needs. The CSC national radio replacement program was completed in March 2000. Switching to a digital radio communications system gave CSC an opportunity to consider changing the existing radio system from a number of conventional, single-site systems to a trunking system. Areas to be considered when determining the architecture for a radio communication network, whether radio trunking systems or conventional radio systems should be used, are presented, In addition, the paper will also outline the requirements and measures taken to keep the radio communication network active and operational while the equipment was converted from an analog technology to a digital one  相似文献

The classical detection step in a monopulse radar system is based on the sum beam only,the performance of which is not optimal when target is not at the beam center. Target detection aided by the difference beam can improve the performance at this case. However, the existing difference beam aided target detectors have the problem of performance deterioration at the beam center, which has limited their application in real systems. To solve this problem, two detectors are proposed in this paper. Assuming the monopulse ratio is known, a generalized likelihood ratio test(GLRT) detector is derived, which can be used when targeting information on target direction is available. A practical dual-stage detector is proposed for the case that the monopulse ratio is unknown. Simulation results show that performances of the proposed detectors are superior to that of the classical detector.  相似文献

Ambiguities in interferometers with high angular accuracy must be resolved to achieve a practical system design. A new technique for ambiguity resolution is described and is based on monopulse circuitry used with the interferometric elements. The overall angular accuracy of the system is achieved by the interferometer; the angular accuracy of the monopulse subsystem is used to resolve interferometric ambiguities. An expression for the probability of correct ambiguity resolution is derived as a function of element size and monopulse accuracy which indicates that high probability of ambiguity resolution results when the size of the interferometric elements are a fraction of the interferometric baseline. Finally, a comparison between conventional monopulse and interferometric system designs is made for the three principal parameters, signal sensitivity, angular accuracy, and field of view, that dictate the appropriate choice for a particular application. Interferometric systems are more appropriate than monopulse systems for those applications in which angular accuracy and field of view are more important than signal sensitivity.  相似文献

 航空电子系统日益增长的复杂性使其必须走向分布式处理的道路。本文介绍一个基于1553B总线的分布式航空电子系统的实验模型——EPDAS系统,讨论了EPDAS系统信息传输机构的有关组成部分:总线通信协议、通信管理软件和总线接口,本文在分析传统的同步总线控制方式的缺点之后,提出了询问和命令/响应相结合的总线控制方式,该方式能提高总线传输的效率和实时性。在EPDAS系统的总线接口设计中,引入了流水线并行处理技术,解决了总线接口的瓶颈问题,并使之易于VLSI化;伪DMA控制的概念,使总线接口电路更加简化;共享存贮器的互连技术,具有效率高、控制简单、容易实现等优点。EPDAS系统结构合理、效率高,符合国情、适合于新一代的飞机。  相似文献
