无源互调测试误差分布特性初探

摘    要:无源互调干扰是卫星通信与移动通信共同面临的棘手问题,无论是无源互调效应的基础研究还是其工程应用,均离不开无源互调测试。无源互调测试误差与载波功率精度、测试系统残余互调电平、接收机检测精度等因素息息相关。然而,现有的无源互调误差评估方法只考虑了误差的上下限,未考虑误差分布特性。基于信号矢量合成理论和蒙特卡罗模拟,研究了无源互调测试误差的分布特性,并开展了初步的实验验证。理论与实验结果均表明:当待测互调电平接近系统残余互调电平时,无源互调测试误差具有非对称分布特性,且出现正误差的概率较大;当待测互调电平显著高于残余互调电平时,误差分布呈现出对称性,出现正误差和负误差的概率基本相当。研究结果对于精细化评估无源互调测试结果具有借鉴意义。

Statistic distribution of measurement error of passive intermodulation

Abstract:Passive intermodulation interference is a thorny problem faced by satellite communication and mobile communication. Both the basic research and engineering application of passive intermodulation effect cannot be separated from passive intermodulation test. Passive intermodulation test error is closely related to carrier power accuracy, residual passive intermodulation level of test system, receiver detection accuracy and other factors. However, the existing passive intermodulation error evaluation methods only consider the upper and lower limits of the error, without considering the error distribution characteristics. Based on the theory of signal vector synthesis and Monte Carlo simulation, this paper studies the distribution characteristics of passive intermodulation test error, and carries out preliminary experimental verification. The theoretical and experimental results show that when the intermodulation level to be measured is close to the residual intermodulation level of the system, the passive intermodulation test error has an asymmetric distribution characteristic, and the probability of positive error is large; When the intermodulation level to be measured is significantly higher than the residual intermodulation level, the error distribution shows symmetry, and the probability of positive error and negative error is about equal. The research results can be used for reference in the fine evaluation of passive intermodulation test results.
