In order to evaluate the removal and installation time of airborne equipment, this paper presents an evaluation method based on maintenance ergonomics analysis and process simulation models. Decomposed the disassembly and installation process into basic maintenance activities, created process simulation models; Use MODAPTS evaluate basic maintenance activities time; Use coefficient to correct basic maintenance activities time, the coefficient is determined by the comprehensive assessment results of maintenance complexity and maintenance ergonomics analysis ; Evaluate the disassembly and installation time according to basic maintenance activities time and maintenance work process analysis. Verify the method by a case of evaluating engine removal time. The result shows that, the method presented in this paper can be used to accurately evaluate the removal and installation time of airborne equipment.
