Abstract: The research of the science and technology information is the basis of the studies of the strategies of the science and technology development and the scientific decision-making. This paper summarizes several important issues involved in the study of science and technology information, including the role of scientific and technological research in the development of science and technology strategy, the selection and search of science and technology information topics and the evaluation of science and technology information research, as well as the role of the quality of personnel.
